You can also do sneak attacks on hadvar to level sneak faster than walking into the wall.

I completed it! I didn't do it like you though, why fight through the Skuldafn dungeon when you can just walk over the mountain. Seemed easier.

Did it once, with my very first character 10 years ago, never since.

I played thru and completed skyrim in about 200hrs (always take my time and enjoy a game) and never encountered a glitch other than maybe a wolf running through a rock and one time fighting a dragon from a point where it couldnt hit me (not inside anything tho, dunno why it couldn't)

How hard was it to create all these wonderful exploits in one game!? Ahhhh, Skyrim, you beautiful thing, never stop being so balanced and fair.

fairly sure it's just the author being facetious, but managing to softlock yourself out of the MQ, not once, but multiple times is actually pretty hard to believe, especially if it's a vanilla playthrough even on the OG release day. i've done dozens of playthroughs with of this game with 600+ modlists and rarely has it ever happened, crashes sure, but that's the mods. chalking that one up to sheer fuckin' incompetence, especially if you have access to the console

Not all bugs/glitches have to be fixed. Crashes of course, but some are just fun and should stay.

I used to have a rule. No exploits until I'd legitimately completed the main game. But who has time for that these days?

I like to use jewellery for the jail armour exploit. So long as there's no duplicates you can have as much enchanted jewellery as you want on at once and it weighs next to nothing. It's REALlLY OP if you max out enchanting first. If you max out heavy and light armour too and get the perks for it to weigh nothing you can wear 1 of each set with 2 enchantments a piece. You can upgrade all of these to legndary too if you max out smithing. There's potions/enchants that take it even further but you should be unbeatable by this point.

Todd Howards convincing a shop keep to buy their own stuff back is very fitting seeing as how I recently just purchased skyrim for the 4th and 5th time... 4th was a gift. 5th was because I only owned 2011 PC skyrim with no DLCs so I wanted to get the full version lol.

You can also take an iron dagger and crouch behind Hadvar and just stab him a bunch of times

don't complain about the bugs. it's the closest thing to cheat codes that we get these days

I’ve actually finished the main quest the regular way. Well never vanilla and it took me just about 600 hours but it was worth it ❤

I'm glad they didn't remove the exploits, it wouldn't be the same without them

It bugs me that you didn’t just sneak and hit Ralof on the storm cloak side. You can get 100 sneak in like 20 min lol

when fighting odhaving, you don't have to leave dragonsreach. you just have to move inside away from the balcony, Odhaving would follow you and then get captured

i wouldn’t want them to patch all the exploits i forgot how to make money without the fortify carry weight potions

I take ralof for the free heavy armor after that all bets are off...

They wouldn't even need to remove that trader chest at all.... XD

All that needs to be done is move the chest down a bit more so you can't interact with it through the ground.... takes..... HALF A SECOND!!! XD
