No love for the kuggerand! It was the only gold coin available for purchase 50 years ago and still is a strong recognizable coin today. I am also not a fan of the silver coin but do like the golds
ОтветитьGold were the first ever modern day bullion coin in the world. Krugerrands are the most recognizable bullion coins in the world. You don't know what you are talking about. The silver coins are minted in the USA by Sunshine Minting, using the exact same silver plachets used for American Eagles. Dog shit bad??? Terrible review!!
ОтветитьYour personal love of Star Wars clouds your judgement. You might not ever make back those astronomical premiums. To think they are that much better thank a Krugerand is wild.
Ответить1 oz of silver = 1 oz of silver.
ОтветитьWhere’s the maple leaf ??
ОтветитьI wish the US mint would do limited editions for national parks 50-100K maybe 2 designs a year that would be an awesome series and very collectible.
ОтветитьGreat info, for a beginner like me 🙌🏾 thanks.
ОтветитьI will have to question your research on all these coins, noticing that you left out the Canadian Maple, which should’ve been right up there near the top
ОтветитьWhere is Berlin Mint??? They made Silver Panda in 2016 - 2023, max. mintage 5000.
ОтветитьThe peace dollar, libertad, and krugerrand are my top 3 favorite silver coins (in that order). I guess with the krugerrand people either love or hate them
ОтветитьOld vid, but no maple leaf mention?
ОтветитьKookaburra gets dinged for high mintage but arent ASE minted in the millions??
ОтветитьI know the Marvel series has a fanbase, but I was afraid to buy them.
I will stick with the Perth Mint.
Brits, Krugs, Phils, and Roos all milk spot.
ОтветитьCan you do rankings of silver rounds? My favorite right now is the aztec calendar.
ОтветитьI like the Panda coin but I'm not giving money to China and there messing with the weight isn't cool, international standard is the troy ounce, China always has an issue with international standards, they can't meet them consistently. It has nothing to do with their using the metric system. Ireland and the E.U uses metric but also troy ounces for bullion. It isn't complicated, I troy oz is 31.1g.
ОтветитьLove the Libertad, can't stand the Marvel coins, they may have re-sale value but they disgust me. I avoid Brit and commonwealth coins also due to personal feelings.
Ответить3.47 the American silver eagle is unpatriotic
ОтветитьThat is so helpful ! I love to get your insight for the variety there is out there ! I am starting to collect/stack and I want to flip as well, so that is pure gold for me, keep it up ! As I am starting, I am trying to get a good base of what there is right now at a good price while trying to avoid the mints with milk spotting. When I am up to date, I will start to stack more seriously while still picking the latest great releases priced below spot and a half.
ОтветитьHow you feel about the RAM kangaroos which started in 1993?
ОтветитьMeh
ОтветитьAs long as it has four 9's, I'll take it.
Ответить👍👍👍
ОтветитьI love the new emperor penguin coins from perth.
ОтветитьGreat information. Always interested in flipping silver within a year. Flipping LEGO now. Might as well do silver too.
ОтветитьGuess I am the 3RD person who actually LOVES Krugerrand's Bought one proof at a tour of the SA Mint years ago, love the coloring and the durability.
ОтветитьDog shit hahahaha
ОтветитьMarvel coins 🗑
ОтветитьWho doesn't appreciate a MEH category 🤷
And possibly a new 🐕 💩 category as well 🤔
The beauty is always in the eye of the beholder, but good reasoning Stormy. Yes, you left off the Canadian Maple which would be in the Money category for me, even though the premiums are getting high. Personally, I love the Panda's and being in UK we don't really have a beef with China, (until they drop a bomb on us). Number two would be Armenian Noah's Ark which you didn't include and three is the Austrian Philharmonic. I would love to continue my tube run of Silver Eagles but at over £900 per tube, forget it when I can get a tube of 25 Britannia's for about £670. Sorry to say but the Marvel and Star Wars coins, least said the better!! 😜
ОтветитьI total disagree with this podcast and even thou your reasons are valid You are leaning toward collector value and rarety, I totally repspect your point. Some people like to stack silver as cheap as they can. Any govenrment backed coin at generic prices that is four nines fine in silver might be a good investment over investment coins and bullion works out a little better for if investing in silver and I hate to say this but in the end silver is silver. My commend is not putting down this pod cast but when it would buy collectables go to USA collectable mint coins. Respectfully, It always depends on the the direction you want to roll the dice and where you you want to go. Respectfully, Clint

brand new stacker here, I love Philharmonics. I am a music and arts guy so the theme resonates with me. I also think Austrians have a reputation for integrity seen few other places. Their wines for instance are incredibly pure (they don't like using chemicals) and their economists could have prevented the mess we are in if anybody listened...
ОтветитьNice video Stormy 🔥I like the fact that you focus on coins that can be flip with a future profit. I love the Libertads. It would be nice to see some of the other European mints that have low mintage and amazing designs coins. Some of my favorites are Germania, Czech, Carpathian, Pobjoy, Pressburg. Cheers 🤟🤟
ОтветитьI have a proof libretad 13k minted carries a nice premium and resell value
ОтветитьI love Krugerrands...I didn't realize I was so alone on this😂
ОтветитьWhat how about the Noah’s ark silver coins you forgot to discuss on it
ОтветитьGood topic! I’ve only been buying tubes of Britannias since 2014, so I haven’t experienced the milk spotting. Maybe from earlier years? I do stack the maples over ASE’s. This year I’ve focused on 10 bars. I like the kookaburras, plus the semi lower mintage, this year would be the last year with the Queen on it - over other HIGH montages coins (Britannia/ maples etc)
If I had to choose, I’d pick the Krugs over the Roo’s.
Thank you for response, I appreciate it!
Sorry for my mistyping, I meant the years of these silver Australia 1 oz Silver Dragon bar coins, from 2018- 2022.
They are very expensive, their premium costs more than the spot price .
Do you still think it is worth to buy ?
I checked online, it ranges from $70-$85? Very pricey???
What do you think ? THANK YOU 🙏
What do you think of the 2018-202 Australia 1 oz Silver Dragon bar coin ???
Which category would you put them ???
Thank you for creating this video !
Nice! I'm curious how you'd rank bars. 10 oz bars are probably the most popular. I really like the Germania mint bars, also any East India £10 bar's too.
ОтветитьUncle Joey mentioned Krugerands on an episode of Full House.
ОтветитьI like the roo's.. :(
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьCanadian ML ranks high!
ОтветитьI love Libertads! I got the full album! 2x 1998, 5x Proofs, 4x RP, still got 4 Spidermans marvel full album.
ОтветитьMy three favorite, aesthetically…Maples, Brittanias and Aztec calendar
ОтветитьLove the Britannia, stopped buying them cause of the milk spots, maples are my best overall choice for quality and price. Thanks for the vids
