This was the most amazing show ever.

How there is fire and flame in a vacuum? Do they provide the explosions with oxygen for added effect to the enemy?...🙄 How there is some sort of gravity on a ship that has no centrifugal movement?... Static electric charge?
So Star Wars...

Thousands of cylons are about to die. God will not forgive this sin!

I love the show. The existence of a resurrection ship means that every Cylon is CONSTANTLY broadcasting updated data to their replacement. There's no other way for enough data to be transmitted for a rebirth of the same being. And since humans don't come equipped for that, identifying Cylons should have been easy. Also, if it's so damned crucial to the Cylons, why weren't there more of them? A bad solar flare or meteor, however unlikely, could lead to extinction. Most importantly, Edward James Olmos is so cool your drink will chill when you walk by him.

The resurrection ship battle is intense. 😂

This series did have some cool visuals.

Still makes no sense they sacrificed the Pegasus to save the Galactica. It was a much better ship. larger more powerful it could manufacture its own fighters. I love the Galactica but the Pegasus was a better stronger ship.

The SFX is fantastic, only spoiled somewhat by the obsession with the JJ Abrams-syle camera flare & wobble cam nonesense.

Um in the original and best bsg the Pegasus was destroyed before leaving their planet!

Wish they would have focused on the battle and not Lee floating around.

Shame for Lee Adumbass that the Colonials never invented duct tape, which anyone with a brain going into space would have on them for any number of reasons. Or at least some sort of emergency seal for their suits. Sorry, the original Apollo was noble, selfless, heroic, and honorable. Lee Adama was a pampered, less than noble, incompetent, and a sniveling little weasel. I thought I wouldn't like the gender swap of Starbuck, but Katie did a great job and I actually loved her take on the character. What they did to Apollo was shameful, especially his stupid sacrifice of the Pegasus when they should have used the Galactica to continue to draw the Cylons fire while the Pegasus obliterated the Basestars at range. She took out that first Basestar in ONE salvo. Instead it's the Lee Adama charge maneuver at ramming speed. Terrible writing.

Cool, the the original BSG was still better.

Oh the joy of false drama. His suit would emergency patches for leaks like that.

The original series from 1978 is the best.

It's a shame they didn't show the two commanders communicating with each other and giving their spies the command to stand down. The fat spy's heart goes out and he laughs nervously. It's a powerful moment, it would have been a perfect ending to the segment shown.

Not only was this the best written sci Fi show ever, but in if the best written TV shows ever. At a time when the Sci Fi channel was horrible production value this was top notch cinematic production value.

I love how the take advantage of how you free float in space regarding the fighters drifting while punching through with lasers.

A real space battle would be interesting. Missiles might still be viable because in the vacuum they can probably accelerate to, who knows, Mach 100?..and they can steer. But Kenetic projectiles including rail guns will be too slow to hit their targets over the vast distances of space.

They've really screwed up Battel star Galactica. I hate this New Battel star Galactica bullshit

I still think they should have been using energy weapons, not "bullets." Anything solid would be hazardous to their own ships.

Kinda nice to see but of course "Lee" would not hear any of those explosions in space.

You are a Cylon on the Basestar. Hear that the resurrection ship can't jump. Realize that you can't win this. Get killed in an explosion. Wake up on the resurrection ship. Not your day.

This was truly a rare series that surpassed it's predecssor reimagined and brought in an original way that the fans couldn't even conceive of and was a amazing surprise to all. This will go down in history along with the Expanse As classic series you should see like Classic sci fi you should read to understand the entire genre. What an epic ride it was!

I'm still hoping for a Gretchen Witmer movie starring Michelle Forbes .

Given all the problems they had with the Galactica later on, I'm really surprised they didn't reverse the order of the two and sacrifice the aging battle weary Galactica and just keep using the Pegasus; they even mention earlier on that the Pegasus requires way less maintenance and can function with a much smaller crew... But I guess BSP isn't as catchy

"can you say your position" Uh no lol. He ejected, the nav computer blew up with the ship. His position is space, somewhere outside the combat area...

The original Battlestar Galactica could of been a great si fi series instead of the laughable annoying garbage that it turned out to be.

Cylon Basestars have to be the most useless ships ever created.

Future tech and huge ship and they still miss.

So much of the show's screen time was wasted on Apollo.
