To beat the third timer challenge easily you just gotta roll and long jump. Easy, you’ll even get at least a little time to spare.

For the mummies one (49). You do not defeat all of them, There will be one mummie that is shining which has the moon in it.

to make #30 easier, go to jaxi ruins, take jaxi to the spot, put the hat, mount jaxi to the other side of the swamp and take the moon.

Super informative video, thank you a much I found a lot of extra moons! If I may make a suggestion for next time, why not try sorting the video by area of the map instead of in number order. Although it is technically out of order, it would make collecting moons more efficient! 😁

i found rolling into long jump for moon 30 is really difficult
as Mario feels like doing a long jump whenever HE wants.
lucky for me i found out the stone lion can ride over the purple swamp,
so just place him by the scarecrow, activate challenge, and use him to get the moon :)

For the slots: align yourselv on the left and throw cappy when you feel like it. It's almost impossible to miss since the three slots start appearing from the left.
