Med flys are from the Brazilian rain forest. They lay their eggs on mosquitoes who rip them on a host animal or human. The larvae burrow into the skin until maturity.

Just curious, when the flies get refrigerated and enter a "chill coma" is it possible that some die? How about when they get dumped into the release box, will the impact create some sort of friction potentially killing them as they stack up?
