Truth is: if you earn more than R30000($1658) per month before tax, you should fairly live a decent life in a safe neighbourhood and afford proper medical care, and own a fairly decent car you can save up for or pay-off within 6 years. But this salary depends on your province and city(this is for Johannesburg and not the cbd, the central business district is VERY DANGEROUS. In other provinces you may need to earn more or less. So this is essentially what teachers, entry level tech people, some accountants, finance people depending on the company. Some administrators and human resource people also may earn decent salary depending on your company.
ОтветитьEver heard of "kwerekwere" Ash? They luv u coz u from the States, its a different story for other Africans tryinna make it there😢
ОтветитьWhere l disagree with your analysis:
You been to Tanzania and South Africa?
Your analysis is actually far better than you think, when you narrate your view of Mzazni to the media agendas in how Africa and Asia is potraid
Your actually a good teacher to explain your valuable experience to the world.
Is actually, your calling to be here, to fix assumption about this world esp were ordinary individuals eager to explore alternative countries to start over, esp Africans in the diaspora with young families.
Exploring better economic opportunities, esp the now BRICS
You can imagine if you were to build a bridge for African Americans to explore alternative investments even for entry investors or low start ups novice❤
Your European in outlook black in colour....
ОтветитьI need a soft life… lol, thats not in Africa.
ОтветитьCame across your channel today. So beautiful and refreshing. x
ОтветитьBeautiful feedback, thanks on behalf of Mzansians. In terms of working though, we make sure we have our fun time dedpitr hectic work schedules. We have people that start work @ 4am till late in the evening for a pennance. And the multilinguism is a beauty. I get frustated with South Africans who can speak/understand other lingos besides english/afrikaans. Anyway, welcome nubian sista.
ОтветитьMaybe because we don't speak only English 😅😅plus winter i agree its not good
ОтветитьThat title was a very smart move on your part lol, as a South African I was really interested in knowing what the hardest part about living in our country is... And I'm glad you and your family are enjoying yourselves here. Hope your kids have adjusted too❤
Ответитьmonday is hangover day n friday they dnt wont even answer ur call in most of companies since they are ready to leave work
ОтветитьHow was your change to the metric system?
ОтветитьThere’s nothing wrong with having a helper. This is providing an income for someone and there is a framework for what their salaries/wages should look like to make it fair for them. Id not for this type of employment some people would not be able to survive
ОтветитьWhat's this lady talking about what part of south Africa is this lady from. I'm getting a hint of a priveleged life style. So 8 percent of the population can relate.
ОтветитьWhat is it they want change about?
ОтветитьI agree with the 3-4 day work week. Its a mindset and we all love socializing more than anything. This helps us to work smart and not hard always. Most of us work 5 days per week but the productivity does dip from Thursday to Monday and I don't think this will ever change and it depends on the industry you work in and if you work for yourself or an employer. We do desire growth and change. I work to live and not live to work. We cannot live alone, UBUNTU is life💞🇿🇦
ОтветитьIt is very taboo for us Africans american to hire our own ppl for domestic servitude positions given our history with Jim Crow. But if you can afford it as a foreigner in South africa I say go for it. I feel like we are looking for support and a sense of connection, not hiring help as a status
ОтветитьThank you for sharing such “horrible” experiences of my home country🇿🇦. You hit the nail on the head and there are things that are amazing and of course there are issues but every country has issues. You just have to decide what you are going to accept and live with them. I miss home a lot but I know it’s not the time to be there for my age but soon I want to move back. I am very fortunate to have grown up in SA as it gave me a different perspective and I love telling people about my country and want to take them and show them. Keep enjoying it. The weather is one thing I completely took for granted.
ОтветитьI'm Southafrican living in Germany. The Southafrican Winter Our Summer in Germany. After 30yrs Europe coming back home. There is mo better place than home. He who speak difference laugage has allready won. About education comparing to Europe is education is here for free. Each learn a Job or skills.
ОтветитьHow is it with the special needs community? Are there resources and schools for them?
ОтветитьAll lies... You could tell she doesn't know what she's talking about
ОтветитьSA does not have a government ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьYes nice videos
ОтветитьWell if they would raise the taxes on the invader's and allow black South Africans to have Free land and black Americans South Africa could be developed
ОтветитьInvaders get extremely high taxed on every thing by black people get Free Land live anywhere they wish and South Africa people live off the taxes and the government fries richer and stronger 💪
ОтветитьThere invaders so they should pay double everything
ОтветитьONLY BLACK SOUTH AFRICANS ARE MULTILINGUAL BECAUSE MAJORITY OF WHITE SOUTH AFRICAN DO NOT BOTHER TO LEARN OUR NATIVE LANGUAGES AND CAN'T EVEN PRONOUNCE OUR NAMES PROPERLY. I HEARD THAT THE REASON THEY DO NOT LEARN IS BECAUSE THEY DON'T SEE ANY VALUE IN IT. IN SCHOOL WHITE SOUTH AFRICANS WOULD RATHER LEARN FRENCH OR AFRIKAANS THAN OUR NATIVE LANGUAGES. THEY BASICALLY LOOK DOWN ON BLACK PEOPLE. THERE ARE DELUSIONAL "CLEVER BLACKS" (WENT TO SCHOOL WITH WHITES) WHO ALWAYS DEFEND THEM AND ATTACK PEOPLE WHO QUESTION WHITE SOUTH AFRICANS.
ОтветитьPersonally the lack of a work ethic is a serious problem I've encountered. We have severe problem that will only be fixed with hard work.
Ответитьcool channel
ОтветитьIt's only talking with the camera on one person all the time.
I tuned in to get some pictures of the country or continent while any narrative is being made.
Its like listening to the radio instead of watching TV.
No thumbs up.
Money will solve most of these problems
ОтветитьWhen you think of coming to kenya let me know
ОтветитьSouth Africa is America in Africa almost the same Jim Crow imperialist type history
ОтветитьHow is it living in South Africa?
ОтветитьWell first things first you aren't African I have no idea why black Americans are called African American when they were born in America and are American citizens they're just American nor does living in South Africa make you African you're just an American living in south africa and I mean that with the most respect, if I move to the UK it doesn't make me British I'm still South African
ОтветитьSis you had me Scared for a Minute. We're in Johannesburg right now. Been here for a week and we leave tomorrow. This is a place on a list to relocate to and we love it here. This was helpful content. Learning Zulu is my thing at the moment. Thanks for sharing
ОтветитьWho told you that you are African? Them folk? Smh
ОтветитьYou sound so cool... I had never thought an African American would speak this highly about Africa, especially my own Country in particular, which the media portrays it as the most horrible place to be. I thought racism in US was something that only exist on the media, just like here in South Africa, only the few and sometimes it through our social media,... except when you outline your experiences it seemed that in america is more real and has a way to influence others to act in such irrational behavior to demean other people.
ОтветитьI visited Cape Town with my family and it was beautiful
ОтветитьNo no no there ain’t anything like a 3 day work week!! That’s most probably part time work but 95% of the time you do have a 5 day up to 7 days a week job!! No lady you talking BS let’s talk load and water shedding as no lights 2/4 hours a day let’s talk crime where ladies can’t walk alone any time of day!! Let’s talk cost of living unless u RICH!! I wish as a South African I can find that life you talking about because lady you selling a shitty dream!!
ОтветитьYou are too cute, you know that you are a South African now,we claimimng you as our own we just need to get you a South African
ОтветитьI've visited 8 African countries and South Africa is by far the best one that I've visited.
ОтветитьIm from the US & it’s dreadful living here. I’m planning my exit plan but I can literally feel the brightness of life from watching your video!! Maybe it’s your energy I’m picking up on & it’s so filling!! So bright like the sun, the fullness I’ve been seeking for! Give me a few years to save & I’ll be there!!
ОтветитьSame thing in Florida summertime all year long😅
ОтветитьI love the vibes you are giving here, I subscribed !!!!!
ОтветитьAs a South African, I first scrolled past this video as I was expecting something negative. Your positivity and optimism really resonates. I have been living in other African countries most of my adult life and coming back to South Africa is like coming to a land filled with milk and honey and opportunity. Thank you for focusing on some of those positive things!
Ответить@Ashleyinafrica You just won you a fan
ОтветитьI think qant to experience where you from !
ОтветитьI lived in the USA for 25 years (from age 18 onwards) and returned to South Africa (first Cape Town then Joburg my favorite) and the biggest difference is that I now work to live instead of live to work; so yes I agree with your analogy of a 3-day work week.
