I feel seen with this video. I am already a Psychologist and was already working as a psychotherapist but I was miserable, I've always liked math/physics/stats but truthfully it doesn't come easy to me, in fact I SUCK but with a general love for programming and research I made what in everyone's opinion was the stupidest choice of doing a MSc. in Neurocognitive Psychologist (which is like the combination of data science / neuroscience / psychology) in another country.... Failed the first year, currently going through it again, barely passing and at an emotional and physical cost that few can imagine, with 2 jobs to sustain me. I went through the whole spectrum of emotions, from thinking I was the queen of the world to wanting to die and quitting. At this point, with a bit more experience and having pass most of the exams, I know how fucking horrible it can be, i know im not the best at exams, but i damn sure know that i do like this and i want to keep going.

Learning how to program a linked list took me half a year or so and I mostly procrastinated, but when I finally understood how the standard code works, I learnt how to reverse a linked list a couple of days after I had learnt to program a linked list.
