Sam Hollyman didn't get a chair turn because he picked the wrong song to sing. He needed to sing a song that showcased his natural vocal range instead of forcing himself to sing louder instead of higher. He absolutely should have gotten chosen but for a bad song choice.

I've seen at least 12 African Citizens from different spots of Africa.. that left for safety, freedom and not be in poverty. On these talent shows.
The bravery of their mothers is phenomenal.. one can take a page from their parenting book on being selfless. And leaving their homeland for what,.. they do not know. Except the propaganda of other countries.. and it seems the worse their country rags on another country, that's where they leave to.
These are people that know what all the Isms can do to your world.. including Tribes that are annihilated and have no modern amenities by choice.
I am always so amazed in my area when another gets here.. and how they Rise up and their children are so well cared for..
I took a page when I became a Mom. That the kids whole world, is inside that front door.. and you bring their interest inside.. music , literature, mathematics, sociology, ECT.. and everything for the mothers becomes all about share the kids want to go and every thing they do not need goes into the kids instead of a 100 dollar coffee maker. And my theory is the same as my childhood.
When you are making coffee in a pot on the stove and filtering it through a cotton sock on a coat hanger, a ten dollar Mr coffee is a huge luxury.
So you may walk in the front door and think these people are poor, but they are rich ,as me..
It was an African woman that pointed that out to me as a young adult. That I have more riches than a millionaire, because my kids life, even as teens was inside our front door.. it was the place they chose to be. Instead of running town.
My home was and still is,.. lol filled with music. Instruments, pa's , speakers, bass amps.. percussion.
