The Empire ALSO can't field half an army's worth of Steam Tanks, or endless gun lines of grenade launchers and Hellstorms. Having to smack down Archaon more often than normal is kinda of counter-balanced by 'why yes you can have an entire unified Empire with zero civil wars and spin out twelve armies of nothing but heavy artillery, tanks, and magical cavalry - also you can buy Elves'.

So yeah, modding one of the things that makes invading NEAR LITERAL HELL harder is...

I watched other warhammer3 lets play channel called Ruinousinsight that operate in the same manner as you are,(as in using replay to show the battles). in his most recent Archaon campaign episode he stated that avoiding/bypassing the gates during siege altogether, helped minimize or decrease the chance of de-sync from happening. might be worth testing/trying the tip. hope it helps.

I usually use the climate adaption mod it slowly turns unhospitable areas green but doesnt do it instantly

Hay love your stuff and if I could ask it would be really nice if you did a campaign either with the mallinum dawn mod, play the nagash mod, or the tomb kings expanded mod. It would be great to watch you play those mods (or you could do the lizardmen mod that gives a bunch of dinos)

Yeah the attrition sucks but it’s the chaos wastes, not exactly the kind of place you should be able to have comfortable time moseying through

Reddit being helpful is more like striking gold while going hiking one random day, except you're shocked and scared to share it lest they be driven away. As for the skaven settlements... aside from asking for more (they never will), would removing the green filter be an option perhaps? ~might~ help maybe. edit: If they'd just get rid of the butt-ladders sieges would be FAR more interesting because then you'd need to either knock the walls down with arty/monsters or batter down the gates.

You don't think CA spent all the "Skaven development resources" to make the one map, only to remember they ran out of time and money and went, well its a good map, I'm sure they'll love playing on it, again and again LOL

CA might not make phoenix court mechanics, but they can make rivers flow uphill on their maps.

A week ago I was searching for a IE highelf playthrough and they where all months ago, so glad you started this one and hopefully you pick all the passives on teclis and have him as the only caster on your stack.

by the way, the Tiranoc chariot is unironically one of the best cav type in the game, the Dragon Princes aside, it's better than any cav the high elves have, they have good mass, good armor and decent speed and charge bonus, they're very good unironically and they shoot too, i quite like the Tiranoc charot, specifically
The rangers were decent at best in WH2 in WH3 they're horrible, i hate them, just use the normal spears they're better

So excited for this. I know you’re not a big HE fan given lack of monsters (dragons!) but their aesthetic is so good. Massed infantry giving me the same feel as child me seeing the opening to LOTR for the first time.

O monsters abound just to let you know that the training skill is actually worth it now as it increases the xp your army gains by about 50% with all 3 skill points if I am remembering correctly, instead of a dribble of 40xp per turn.
Also I'm impressed you didn't get your sword masters killed in the first battle and video like you usually do haha.

Seeing how little Teclis gets makes you wonder what the original lords and factions would be like if they were released now? Teclis might have been given the ability to send envoys to trading factions in order to get their units or gain the ability to switch the school of magic he uses to buff his faction

I heard grimgor either head butted archaeon and cracked the eye of sheereon and caused archaeon to lose his shit or another version just had grimgor straight up kicking archaeon in the ball sack so hard he made slaanesh blush with depravity and fucked off to gork knows where.
