This Naat shareef was written in the love of our beloved Prophet SAWS by Hazrath Syed Shah Ahmed Raza khan fazil-e-barelvi Rh..

This is not from the Indian subcontinent, like everything else we took the first 3 lines and added our own spin on it. This is from the Barzanji Mawlid. In the description credit has been given to Manaqib productions who have published a beautiful copy of the Barzanji mawlid where this can be found.

This is my father's tarz (tune and the way the chorus is written I.e. saying salualaihi wa alihi twice) this recording is by abdul rahman who travelled with sheihk samir; who we had the honour of inviting to our home. They loved this tarz so much they have carried it on Mash'Allah. Swapping the urdu verses with arabic ofcourse. Alhamdulillah.

Salatul Fatih

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ ❁ الْفَاتِحِ لِمَا أُغْلِقَ ❁ وَالْخَاتِمِ لِمَا سَبَقَ ❁ نَاصِرِ الْحَقِّ بِالحَقِّ ❁ وَالْهَادِي إِلَىٰ صِرَاطِكَ الْمُسْتَقِيمِ ❁ وَعَلَىٰ آلِهِ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ وَمِقْدَارِهِ الْعَظِيمِ

O Allah, send prayers upon our master Muhammadﷺ, the opener of what was closed, and the seal of what had preceded, the helper of the truth by the Truth, and the guide to Your straight path. May Allah send prayers upon his Family according to his greatness and magnificent rank.

BALAGHA AL-'ULA BI KAMALIHI - بلَغَ الْمَلا بكماله

Lyrics:

بَلَغَ الْعُلَا بِكَمَالِهِ كَشَفَ الدُّجَى بِجَمَالِهِ
حَسُنَتْ جَمِيْعُ خِصَالِهِ صَلَّوْا عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ

He reached the highest in perfection; He removed the darkness
with his beauty
All his qualities are beautiful, send peace and blessings upon him!

لَاحَ الْخَبِيبُ بِوَجْهِهِ الْمُتَأَلِقِ فَمَرًا , وَفِي أُفُقِ الْبَهَا لَمْ يُلْحَقِ
The Beloved appeared with his radiant face
As a moon on a horizon of splendour, unsurpassed

أَهْدَيْتَ لِلأَكْوَانِ كُلَّ سَعَادَةٍ , يَا صَاحِبَ الْوَجْهِ الْمُنِيرِ الْمُشْرِقِ
You gifted all existent things with complete (eternal) felicity
O possessor of a face so shining and resplendent

يَا سَيِّداً طَابَتْ عَنَاصِرُ أَصْلِه , وَحَلَتْ مَذَاقَتُهَا لَدَى الْمُتَذَوّقِ
O master, whose origin is pure and agreeable
It is most sweet in taste to he who savours it


يَا رَحْمَةٌ يَا نِعْمَةً يَا مِنْحَةٌ , بِعُرَاكَ كَانَ تَمَسُّكي وَتَعَلُّقِي
O mercy, O bounty, O gift
To your reliable grip is my devotion and attachment


وَبُعِثْتَ لِلتَّقَلَيْنِ أَعْظَمَ رَاحِم , بَلْ أَنْتَ لِلْعَاصِينَ أَشْفَقُ مُشْفِقِ
You were sent to humankind and the jinn,
showing the greatest mercy
Nay, even to disobedient sinners you are concerned and
tender


عَطْفاً عَلَى مَنْ بَاتَ فِيكَ مُهَيَّمَا , وَلِغَيْر بَابِكَ دَهْرَهُ لَمْ يَطْرُقِ
Take pity on one who has remained madly in love with you
Who never knocked on any door besides yours

بَلَّغَ العُلَى بِكَمَالِهِ كَشَفَ الدُّجَى بِجَمَالِهِ حَسُنَتْ جَمِيعُ خِصَالِهِ صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ
Ballaghal 'ula bi kamalihi, kashafad duja bi jamalihi, hasunat jami'u khisalihi, sallu 'alayhi wa alihi.

لَاحَ الحَبِيبُ بِوَجْهِهِ المُثَالِي قَمَرًا وَفِي أُفُقِ إِلَهٍ لَمْ يُلَحْ
Laaha al-habibu bi wajhihi al-mithali qamaran, wa fi ufuqi ilahin lam yulah.

أَهْدَيْتَ لِلْأَكْوَانِ كُلَّ سَعَادَةٍ يَا صَاحِبَ الوَجْهِ المُنِيرِ المُشْرِقِ
Ahdayta lil-akwan kulla sa'adatin, ya sahiba al-wajhi al-muniri al-mushriq.

يَا سَيِّدًا طَابَتْ عَنَاصِرُ أَصْلِهِ وَحَلَّتْ مَذَاقَتُهَا لَدَى المُتَذَوِّقِ
Ya sayyidan tabat 'anasiru aslahu, wa hallat madhaqatuhā lada al-mutadhawwiq.

يَا رَحْمَةً يَا نِعْمَةً يَا مَنْحَةً بِغَرَضِكَ كَانَ تَمَسُّكِي وَتَعَلُّقِي
Ya rahmatan, ya ni'matan, ya manhatan, bi gharadika kana tamassuki wa ta'alluqi.

وَبُعِثْتَ لِلْقَلَيْنِ أَعْظَمَ رَاحِمٍ بَلْ أَنْتَ لِلْعَاصِينَ أَشْفَقُ مُشْفِقٍ
Wabu'ithta lil-qalayni a'zama rahimin, bal anta lil-'asina ashfaqu mushfiqin.

عَطْفًا عَلَى مَنْ بَاتَ فِيكَ فَهِيمًا وَلِغَيْرِ بَابِكَ ذَرَّةً لَمْ يَطْرُقْ
'Atfan 'ala man bata fika fahiman, wa lighayri babika dharratan lam yatruq.
