Yea personally as a th14 atm with a lil side F2P account, it it pretty fun but I’ve kinda lost motivation to continue playing it atm, since it’s really difficult especially for dark elixir. I have over 1K league medals, 3K+ gems and raid medals, and I just keep getting more since I barely play it often enough to spend any of them 😂 how do you manage to get so much dark elixir for upgrading? My heroes are 7 levels from max 40 and none of my dark troops/spells are upgraded currently..

Hey so I've played clash since 2011ish.
I have rarely bought in game gems/items (a few skins that's it)
And have tried my best to max out everything every TH level while only playing once a day or twice a day.

It's 2023 and ya boi is sitting at TH13 3Stars at level 180.

It's a long grind lol.

I’ve been playing free play for 8 years and I’m nearly max TH 15. I have 17 more upgrades left. It seems every time I max there’s an update shortly there after thus increasing the reason to play!

I honestly believe its completely rediculous for normal buildings like the archer tower EVEN at max town hall level to take 2 and a half weeks. Like you have so many buildings to upgrade and with town hall levels being introduced at most 2 years in between its absoultely insane to expect a free to play player to max his base. Even if u start maxed out you are porbably gonna have a few months of being completely maxed out before they drop another town hall level on your head. And if you started at lets say 11 or 12 rn you'd probably get maxed out by town hall 18 or something. The cap on buildings should be at most 2 weeks and it definetly should be reserved for the one of important buildings like the town hall, CC, barracks, spell factory, lab, seige workshop and pet house and the major defenses like monolith and eagle artilery. The normal buildings should be no more than a week at any level. Maybe the key defenses like inferno, Xbow, Scatter and army camps and heroes can be around a week but the archer, cannonns, wizards, teslas, mortars ALL of those shouldnt be more than a 5 day at the MAX level. They have powercrept the time sink of this game so much its absolutely mind boggling. I know they would never reduce the times that much because people wouldn't be insentivised to buy gold pass every month but this is really sad and frustrating for free players...

It is possible to max your base with free to play guys. I am kind of free to play player I just bought season pass once and just bought 500 gems one time years ago at my main account. But I also quit game for 3 months so these purchases neutralizes the 3 month break. Right now I have remaining 4 canons 3 wizard towers 10 traps, 130 walls, 1 level of poison lizard, 5 level of lassie, 2 level of king and 3 level of new warden troop remains in my base. Rest is max for th15 and I have 6 months to max my base until th 16 comes but I will be maxed in 3 months

I just use coc as a game to play when I get bored and keep all upgrades running at all times as it’s easy to do so over time if u don’t think about it you can progress which seems quick

My grandpas been playing casually for 10 years and is 99.9 percent max

I upgraded my TH to level 13 75 days ago and I’ve “only” got archer towers, cannons, teslas and walls to upgrade without using money. So it is possible

At some level upgrading a building takes 20 days. How can you reach the end with this? Just buy gold pass. Enjoy the perks.

I’ve been playing coc since 2015 I’m almost th12 I just need to max my walls I’m free to play and I’m off and on but I feel o progress pretty slowly I’ve been on town hall 11 for like 400 days now

I end up going into months without playing because i upgrade something and have to wait minumun of a week or more and that kills the game man, specially if i upgrade the queen or king then o cant even attack anymore

I started playing clash of clans in 2017 April and still i am at TH12. its like i am stuck on same TH forever. Game is really fun when you have your gang and your clan where you can compete with each other and grind it otherwise its really boring game.

Th9 I have all 5 byilder completely ftp

I've been playing coc for about 6-7 years now, I just reached th 13 and I've never spent money on the game and I've taken about 2 years break😅

I use to play in hs 2k15 now just getting back into the game I was almost max TH10 and even at 10 with all the resources to upgrade at that town hall is brutal for most now being 26 and working 40 hrs a week I don’t think I’ll ever reach the end but if I can get a max TH 12 this time I’d be happy for most i dont think max TH 14 or 15 is attainable given most adults life but wild that this game has stayed relevant for over a decade now
