Heavy af, lower clearance, and some don't even go that fast.... Might as well stick to a dual sport. Or what am i not understanding here?? I thought the point of an adv is being faster for the highway.

I have a versys 300x and I love it....but it's not a serious off road bike. My son has a crf300l and this bike is a serious off road machine but a little sketchy on the interstate with its light weight and lack of passing capability. If these two machines could have a baby.....?

I agree. The Honda is so much more dirtbike but the KTM looks like a load of fun.

I pick the HONDA , I have not dealt with the suspension softness , people claim it has .

In your opinion, among 250 cc motorcycles, which one is more suitable and better for adventure?! Kawasaki Versus Yamaha wr250r Honda CRF Rally

I would pick the 2023 Husqvarna FE350s......way better than your top 5.

Except that the CRF 300 is a dual sport, not an ADV

Why would you include the Honda CRF 300 L and not the KLX 300? These bikes run neck and neck in every category save the KLX has adjustable suspension and the CRF does not, if that's important to you. But I think both bikes are more properly classified as dual sports. The Rally might be ok on the highway but the KLX definitely is not. It's a dirt bike with lights and street tires.

The KTM is definitely number 1. Let's be honest the Honda isn't an adventure bike. Sure it's the best off road but that's because it's just a modified dirt bike. The KTM destroys it on road.

Being an Aussie I thought you might at least have given the measurements in metric as well as imperial.

Good video though.

BMW for me. The Honda is mostly for off road and is too tall. The BMW is better on the road.
The Versys is too peaky, no torque. The KTM is too fussy with electronics, and the Himalayan is too heavy.

It would be good to make commentary based on your personal travel - otherwise the info can be found over the internet just by comparing bikes on sales websites. Personal experience is what makes reviews interesting for me

after years with my Transalp XL700V i bought a G310GS to reduce weight ---getting older folks :(:(
3 years/21500km and around 5000km offroad in the italian/french western Alps and Pyrenees, i sold the GS...this bike is ok for nice enduro travelling but not versatile for real offroad, so i am back to Japan with a DRZ400 and will grant me a CRF300L as gift for my pension :):) waiting for the CRF450 L/Rally ... !!!!!!!

Bought the 390 ADV. Sold it several months later when my 1st choice T7 came in. Now I'd like to possibly get a CRF300L or Rally... or maybe the KLX300 for more true dual sporting.
