Have you ever ripped shows? How would I know which files to get if there are a few episodes on each disc?

Does this only work for saving movies from disc to a computer? Or could you also use this system to save a movie from one dvd, and burn it onto another DVD (along with all the original DVD's extra features)?

Hmmm... You don't need MakeMKV to rip a regular DVD. Handbrake will do that by itself from your CD/DVD drive, but you do need a special file to decrypt. I'm sure a search will reveal the exact name of the decryption file.

Have you ever had any errors. Saying copy complete 1 title saved, 1 failed. 21 errors, read error. Cd is cleaned, no scratches.

So to simplify.
MakeMKV to pull a raw file off the disc
Handbrake to compress it and keep the quality?
