Hi, like to add one point regarding infotainment sys, an update version has been released, that solve the frequent disconnections and quick connectivity possible with this update

Power to weight ratio 👍 Something new I learned ❤JIMNY is not available in the USA, but people loves here, Definitely I will buy Classic when I will come India, 🙏

A 40L fuel tank does not do justice to an adventure vehicle like the Jimny. 50 Litres would have been more appropriate. A small tank is surely a waste of time fuelling up more often.

Weak swing arm mounts. Ofcourse they will not come apart unless there’s an impact. For folk who off-road, that’s something to keep in mind. Really flimsy formed metal inspired by a ghee tin perhaps.

NVH - in addition to the boxy shape, one must keep in mind there are 2 differentials and a low range gear box. 3 propellor shafts. One is sitting right next to the main gearbox and almost on the top of the transfer gearbox. 4 litres of additional oil being churned in the diffs and aux gearbox. These things transfer noise and vibrations when they rotate.

They should have factory fitted fog lamps on all models. Silly cost cutting. Good Lights are an extension of safety !

That car type steering wheel is a real eyesore. Outstanding instrument cluster, otherwise, thankfully.

The good things outweigh these small shortcomings by a large margin.

Very comprehensive detailed review... Certainly like you said it does not define your status it defines your personality.... The anticipation of jimny before launch was phenomenal but when actual dimensions and comparisons with the thar while jimny being a proper 5 door suv with less boot space and comparatively less width had buyers disappointed.. The saving grace will be If the jimny launces with a hybrid only one in india with a proper low ratio 4x4 or a diesel it can garner more sales volumes.. And as you know strong hybrid is having tax concession in states like up and other states may follow suit as well... Nice work... 👍

Ye gadi itni chhoti bana di ki ye madam k samne b chhoti lag rai. Japan should have tweaked this for India. Toyota understood it but Suzuki dont want to learn.

If the pricing would have competitive during its launch then 50% chance the sales would have got increased and there is no need for 3L discounts offer now. Projecting it as off-roader in its advertisement , showing mountains , rocks , water stream , driving in snow. It failed miserably . Why for daily office commute , school pick up/drop , easy parking in streets , family week end fun outing , Jimny wont suit eh ? People are not always driving Leh Ladak , crossing flood waters and doing off roading daily in their life. A Car should be part of the family in all the seasons , not one guy doing off road and family sits watching. There are Enough reasons of why it failed . :)

As a practising physician I find Jimny a good companion for a daily city run of 35 to 40 km, at 65 it has given me a new reason for driving😊

Big problem in Jimny is..... engine get very hot after 10 kilometers running, that you cannot touch bonnet cover, there is no good solution for this, itbis the same case in every Jimny. I regret zi had bought one.

I think the chrome garnish on the grill makes it look cheap. The original Suzuki grill or the optional grill looks better. The single tone mirrors also look better.

I thought rear seat recline is adjustable 😮😮😮😮

Errr... so sorry to point it out. There are some pointers (most of it) you mentioned was incorrect, not analaysed and researched properly.
Now this comes from the oNe who has the jimny and clocked 40k km already and love it.

Excellent review, what is your view about the automatic version. Do u feel it is a value for money after all the hefty discounts offered
