I worked in a hospital as a cardiologist technician during a code blue the patient in question the next day told me during a test he remembered me because he floated over my head during the code blue we were so amazed and I totally believe that what happened was true. They see what's happening during the code blue.

Right after the doctor stated that he is skeptical of nde's from people with a form of financial gain, he talks about his book. That twisted my brow a bit.

I'm reading his book right now. Very interesting. Seems to prove the super natural but majority of the cases said in the book are more new-age "God is me, we are all part of God" than Christian, Jewish, Islam.

it seems all religions have NDE's but I wonder how it changes that. A priest had one and it helped him be a better priest (he admitted he was selfish) He saw Mary while others see "beings" or angels or relatives

when you are dead you are dead. Near death experience is not evidence of afterlife. This whole video is just bunk and whimsy. And Jesus is dead as dust too. God was invented by man.

I prefer 'Clinical Death experience' to separate the 'Near Death Experience' - it means the patient has been declared dead and yet minutes or hours later comes back to life - to me, these are the more provable instances.

Im amazed at how at some people want you belief that NDEs show an afterlife and therefore a God and therfore the bible is true.
Im no athiest but people need to be careful of the spin that dan be used in NDE videos.

I already understand life transforms to something else after death but the faith version is nonsense. These so-called medical people have no clue. All doctors are is mechanics. They can't cure anything and only have a "guess" about what really happens. They will learn.

You see though - Christianity and NDE's are not compatible in that Christianity teaches about hell for unbelievers but there are very "unsaved" atheists who have NDE's and experience the same Love and acceptance and feeling of being home in their NDE, all across the world. Hindus, Bhudists, Mormons. And before someone comments about Satan being able to decieve and all, please ask yourself if Satan can love you with the most powerful love you've ever felt because that's the love experienced in an NDE. Just throwing it out there but if you are going to take in 24 years of NDE studies as I have, eventually you must let go of your traditional view of the gospel and salvation....

There are so many NDEs that every person in the world must have had one. The only problem is, that no two are even similar.

I have experienced OBE not NDE, when I had a relapse of COPD Bronchitis in the year 2008, and experienced myself floating near the ceiling of my apartment, and got to view everything which was placed near the ceiling, till I looked downward and saw myself seated on the chair doing my mediation which was recommended as a measure for bronchitis.

This confirms we have a body, spirit and soul. My soul had left the body, but the spirit kept my body alive. So, we are body, soul and spirit. In that moment I didn't feel the pain in my lungs which was 24/7, with continuous phlem and coughing. I was totally free from pain. And I experienced a feeling which was out of this world ! A feeling I cannot describe in words !

This confirms Jesus is our Lord and Saviour and He is the way, the truth and the light ! And the resurrection is true. ! Recently watched the world acclaimed documentary on 'After Death' and now no there are others like me who have either experienced NDE (Near Death Experience) or OBE ( Out Of Body Experience).

Yes. Thank you Sean for this amazing interview which is so informative and inspiring especially for those who have no near death or OBE experience. I wish to confirm only 3 factors. When OBE takes place, the vision is 360 degrees. Secondly, under OBE, the spiritual body can go through any close door or barrier with no problem or not hit by a ceiling fan. Thirdly, the joy or bliss when out of the physical body is beyond any description or words. Lastly as Dr. Long mentioned, after OBE experience, there is no fear of death anymore.

I have questions your previous loved ones relatives and Friends that you meet on the other side if your friends and relatives reincarnate into a new body How would you get to see them There a new studies that say that there are sections of the brain that stay alive a lot longer than researches and doctors have found with the Limited amount of oxygen They are suggesting that be causing this Out of Body Experience When people are resuscitated and the blood flow through resuscitation is re-established artificially They believe this be causing the outer body experience I for one have had positive proof of after death Communications with both of my parents After they have died my mother told me things that were going to happen in the future to prove to me that she's okay and these things did happen I am a believer I think the thing that makes continuation after death are the children That remember their past lives with accurate details That makes a 360° event You have the out of body experience and come back into your body But when you finally do die and reincarnated as a young child You remember your past life That's the most positive proof for me that life goes on consciousness cannot be destroyed

My dad just died last week and 2 dear and close friends are both dying of cancer. One will be gone within the next 48 hours and the other one, probably in a few months. So needless to say, it is HUGELY comforting to think that there is a life past this one. My friend who is dying flat-lined in the hospital a couple of months ago and had a brief NDE. She said everything went black and she thought "this is it", but then she saw a light and heard beautiful music playing. Then she was back in her body. The more I hear and read about this, the more I am convinced that our consciousness survives the physical death. Thank you for this.

I have been under anesthesia twice, and both times I have zero memory of anything. It kind of freaks me out how consciousness goes away under anesthesia. Has anyone been under anesthesia and experienced nothing, but later in life went on to have an NDE when their heart stopped?

I'm intrugued: maybe I missed it on the chat (I was multi-tasking, and not very skilled at it) .. but it sounded very much like pretty much everybody who reported NDEs sensed that the afterlife would be positively beautiful - although I didn't get the impression that that was restricted to believers or people who decided during their experience to follow Christ - or that that was presented as a necessity. (Sorry - loooong sentence 😬🙏🏼)
I did watch your more recent live on NDEs yesterday and I know that some people described having huge spiritual shocks in perspective and a choice to make for Christ, but I wonder how that all squares with this one .. ? 🧐

I recently had a very vivid dream that I can only describe as rapture. I could see myself from the neck up looking upwards, I don’t know what I was looking at, I could feel something like this wonderful pure energy beaming down on me while I had the happiest broadest smile on my face, transfixed.

My mother, who's a RN, while waiting for a red light to turn green, had a massive heart attack and felt her heart stop. She saw all color in her vision turn to shades of black and gray. She tried to move her foot to keep the car stopped, and to move her hands to park the car. In just 3 seconds, she was unconscious. Later, she told me that people tune out their beating heart and are only aware of when it stops.

My absolute favourite part was hearing that we will probably get to see our beloved pets! I miss boy so very much.

Hi, just a little problem, a lot of nde of the site of Dr Long, is that there is a lot of so called NDE, which are spritual experiences who teach reincarnation. I like your work, but you should have mention it, and mr Long seems to be pro reincarnation, and the after life which is so confident for his deceased, if they dont know JChrist, will be not a pleasant experience at all but an hellish one. I understand you dont want conflict but on certain topic as the eternal destination of the soul, there re no compromised, the door is narrow.
Discussion for discussion on so important topic should be without concession.
Mr Long was onDanny Jones podcast totally agreing on reincarnation and other newage views.
I believe there are a %age of NDE which are from God, but a lot of on Mr Long websites are deseptives spirituals experiences teaching reincarnation, universal love and conscience. Take a look, only 1on 6 referes God the Father or Jesus, and sometimes, when the so called Jesus or God is in company of 3 fellows, the same as in the alien abduction described in the novel "Communion"(real story of Whitley Striber), or the nDE in the 70 "Embraced by the lifght". Mr Long is not christian apparently.
