Those aquitanias are everywhere, especially in the med.I sank one of them in my current career in the atlantic playing in1943.Normally you cant catch up to them since they move faster than the top speed of a uboat unless they are escorted or the seas are rough.Personally i prefer impact detonators especially against those liners unless the angle is bad or zigzagging.

Could the duds and possible malfunction have been due to "not maintaining" the torpedoes before use? It always seems you order torpedoes maintained before use, and that may have happened but simply was not included; however, a zero-for-three outing is just incredibly hard to believe given previous reliability. Thanks for a very, very enjoyable and entertaining series!

Nice to see you got the American Submariner experience in this episode. This has been a good campaign, I kinda hope the next one can be a Type XXI boat since the last time you sailed that boat was 4 years ago, mind you I do plan on going back to watch that playthrough.

Great series I looked through it during Christmas! The very last third of the hull of an ocean liner is often rounded - due to this the Impact pistoled torpedo bounced off. As I did Play several hundred hours of SH3 I learned to avoid magnetic pistols - for me it is better to use two torps safe to kill than one with a questionmark. A ship injured by a single hole in the side stays behind the convoy and closly beside it is good spot to hide accusticly. So I do wait my time untill the corvetts and destroyers do return to their sheeps and left the wounded prey to me.

HMT Aquitania draft is incorrect because I wasted nice chuck of torpedoes that is being thrown at her. Because I was trying to hit her with magnetic pistols. But unfortunately you did do right call by firing impacts because I would usually do that or otherwise.

Hi friend, gotta ask, how did you install all those mods? Because i bought the game a month ago and i would likes to "upgrade" my game.
Also everytime i start a new mission i Always get caught by enemy Planes and ALWAYS get sunk, and It Is been like 3 Mission already, Is this some kind of bug?

Amazing videos. I bought UBOAT and now learning how to play it. Quick question: which one do you prefer: SH3 or UBOAT? Of course, I’m talking about modded SH3. I played SH3 quite a bit but only in auto mode, now learning how to calculate torpedo solutions. Your TDC tutorial for UBOAT is pure gold. Keep it up
