Jedi Knight 2 Jedi Outcast - Epic Duels

I played Jedi Academy first because I thought it came out first. Will this game feel like a downgrade from Academy?

Jedi Academy,The Force Unleashed I & II are my favorite Star Wars games.Jedi Outcast was good but more difficult imo because the movesets & upgrades were not effective enough.

After beating Jedi Survivor it made me immediately miss this game from my childhood. I just wanted the game to be over with since every combat encounter felt like just mashing buttons to hit your enemies with your light saber baseball bat and that's it.

I cannot believe they still can't beat let alone match this game in terms of combat for over 20 years now. It's absolutely crazy to see the state of modern AAA gaming today and depressing seeing it decline year by year.

Beautifully played. Nice to see how you dive into those duels - movement, smoothness, rhythm. especially second one. Outcast has this atmosphere and coherence that academy sadly lacked. My favourite sw game.

This game brings me back sweet memories when i was a teenager played this game on Pc 🙂😁! Jedi Outcast was so much fun to play and it was such an amazing and special game 🙂.

When a hack and slash game has better choreography than a new Hollywood-made trilogy of films.

This game was so ahead of its time especially with the lightsaber duels

Can somebody godamn explain me how Saberlocking works? I'm fighting Desaan and it feels completly random who wins a Saberlock

Fought like a true Jedi. I noticed you never really took offense at any point in these duels. Instead you let them mindlessly charge and attack you as you countered (sorta like Obi Wan Kenobi’s style). I would say this is probably the best way to fight in this particular game because with as many fights as you get in each level, you can’t really take offense all the time because you’ll lose a significant amount of health fighting that way.

To be honest I liked outcast's lightsaber combat more.

Playing through this and gonna definitely do Academy as well. Wish there were more singleplayer focused mods, really impressed with the campaign. Even the forced shooter missions in the beginning have a neat quality. They're hard as hell and the designs are confusing but it feels good in its own way to get really good at blasting stormtroopers with a fast Doom-like playstyle.

i so loved this game. thank you for allowing me to be a jedi at 15. I remember playing the demo before I bought it. The demo was a level not in the final game. And at the end of the demo you had to fight a light saber sith. As you stepped into the hangar it went to cut scene and DUN. DUN DUN.
