That all changed when I walked in the front door of my local branch.

ОтветитьI once worked at a call center for an unnamed company that provided internet. People would call up angry about their services not working properly, but while they were angry, the company which will go unnamed, encouraged us to try to sell them more stuff. People working at call centers are under a ridiculous amount of pressure and pressured to try to sell people crap they don't even need. It's ridiculous and it was surprisingly one of the most stressful jobs I have ever had.

ОтветитьWay to go SNL for nailing it on your satire of Cable TV service representatives! I hate how they waste our time trying to get us to come back and re-subscribe instead of canceling! This goes for the other internet and telephone services as well. The foreign reps with their annoying thick accents are doubly irritating only because they are hard to understand! But to be fair, Netflix has been good to me and not as bothersome. They do have some great shows and movies and good customer service. I am going to regret leaving Netflix when I finish watching Cobra Kai Season 6!
