Regular seeds are only ones I would ever want
ОтветитьGood show! I agree with you and have said numerous times, to anyone that would listen, that eventually the public will demand better quality flower to burn. No way those mega growers will or could. Even when they have a quality strain, it goes through a mechanical trimmer, once it takes that beatdown it's mids! ( IMHO ) Later, Duane
ОтветитьReg seeds or bust
That's all I seek
Great episode brothers we appreciate your time
ОтветитьFLETCH....Best episode yet
ОтветитьHP 13 was always seedy and larfy but was unlike anything else. Smelled like melted rubber bands and rotten tuna fish. Great stuff!
ОтветитьLove to see true capitalism in action. The LP in Canada mad their money when they went public, and they also sell most of their product to Europe at a higher price. I don't think it's the Gerber baby food model...undersell everyone until they go belly up. The government and the stoner "moguls" who wrote the laws shot themselves in the foot. The blackmarket is still strong because people are bored with the homogeneous, weak, crap they sell in the stores. Small craft producers ftw.
ОтветитьI heard the story of G 13 being a clone stolen from the U.S. government grow facility in Louisiana or some banjo pickin' state where the feds had their botanists growing some bunky shit for the handful of people that actually received it for medical reasons back in the eighties. G stood for government and the 13 coming from the thirteenth letter in the alphabet, M which supposedly stood for marijuana. Government Marijuana. G13. Damn good marketing gimmick to sell seeds.....just like today!😂😂 Thanx to Fletcher for his input and knowledge.😎
ОтветитьI dream the same dream, of people getting more aware about real good genetics. But at the same time i recognize Bob marley no woman no cry has 40mio views while jack harlow with a fergie cover song has 80m views. I doubt we the minority will ever be the majority, sadly.
ОтветитьNote on G13. There was large indoor hydro production of G13 in South FL during 1992-1994. It was well grown and consistent. The top of the Florida market at the time. Having consumed a lot of it during those years, I can say that it was a distinct pissy smell. Different from skunk of that time, less terpy overall. Very potent, buzz lacked personality. It never once had a seed.
ОтветитьLove these episodes where you guys talk about plants and their history. Not people and their egos.
ОтветитьArchive is a moron
ОтветитьRegs are easy to sell lol 😂 come on
ОтветитьI hear you guys talking about a discord is that for patreon supporters or what?
ОтветитьI love making regular seeds and growing thru them. I been doing that for years, because I had too. Kentucky..💚🤤
ОтветитьIn the late 70's early 80's I was getting a strain from Garberville called "Especial" that actually tasted like hash when you smoked it. It expanded, it was stoney as hell and it tasted like hash. That's the original hashplant. These guys on this video are too young to know this or have been able to experience this strain. That's why they didn't mention anything about a hash plant that actually tastes like hash. Too bad that strain is gone, probably because of some pollen chuckers trying to make a new and improved version so they could make a name for themselves. This stuff here on this video is just strain salad from people who are too young to really know what was actually around back in the day. Weed was way better back then!!!!!
ОтветитьOhio Lemon G is nostalgic gas lemon pine sol dank
ОтветитьMTF is same as UW. Where any weed grown in the Matanuska valley area outside anchorage Alaska and sent to anchorage for sale was labeled MTF and when it made its way outside alaska it was labeled ATF because nobody knew wtf the Matanuska valley was. it was just high quality indoor grown in the area by the hundreds of growers and dozens of cuts aqnd genetics. also note. Alaskans dont even say matanuska valley we actually call it the Mat-Su valley as in the Matanuska-susitna valley when talking about the geographical area. so to me the name matanuska thunderfuck wasnt even a name created by alaskans.
ОтветитьSeems like the Elephant in the Industry is being Ignored, the Tobacco Industry is behind the Majority of the Financing of all the big Grow Ops and Influencing Government Lobbyists for more Regulation squeezing out all the Mid-level Operators!
ОтветитьHash plants and indica hybrids in general have decimated the cannabis gene pool and the industry in general. It’s also set medicinal back decades. We have the greedy Dutch and US farmers to thank for that (breeding for flowering time and structure rather than medicinal effect and preservation). We’re seeing the same thing happen with Ruderalis/autos today.
ОтветитьThe amount of knowledge notso has is crazy 🤯 Hearing his convos with other knowledgeable people in the scene makes me feel like I’m really getting the secret sauce 😂 shoutout to Matt too cause he does good research and it’s cool hearing his perspective because it’s an informed opinion or observation. I learn a lot from everyone
ОтветитьIsn't snow considered a hash plant ?
ОтветитьRemember Afpak and mazar I Sharif was a unique hashy taste strain.
ОтветитьWe are now 🎉
ОтветитьThe fact yall say Bubblegum has no flavor Im blown away...Ive smoked it many years and it has so much flavor its not even funny but I guess it needs to be grown with Love because Id send anyone of these 3 guys flower to disprove that lie. 😂 I did a piss poor job this last round and it still has more terp transfer to joint then almost anything New today.
