I honestly feel like when it’s been a long day, nothing is going right, you’re tired and stressed and just want to go home, I think going off in anger is more of a catharsis. And then once it happens and you calm down you have that “I shouldn’t have said that” moment

I don’t agree with that take at all, some moron clipping you can ruin your career completed. Take the clip and show him directly, don’t air it to everyone. That is nothing but wanting someone to suffer.

I’ll be honest. I’m not a podcast guy. I loved smallville through high school and well after. I’ve seen every episode. This podcast might be better than the show. With the focus on reality, mental health, and the raw interactions between everyone. I’m hooked. Thanks for this.

How many times do we judge someone for a rage out video online? That's like that person's worst moment. And the whole internet treats them like that's how they are every second of every day. I treated some guys at the hardware store like crap a few years back, and I actually went back and talked to the guys and said I was sorry for it. Middle of a project, hungry, stressed, and I took it out on them. The guys were cool about it, but I still look back at my behavior with a lot of shame. We should all be a lot less judgemental when these freakouts appear. Everybody has their moments, but most of us are lucky enough that it doesn't hit the internet.

I dont watch podcats... but i love the shorts and small videos hitting my feed.

I wish i watched smallville while it was first airing. I didnt watch smallville until i was maybe 30 like 5 years ago.

Or maybe it was better because man. That viewing took me back. It was so nostalgic even though i had never seen the show prior. I remember seeing all the actors faces around that time so seeing them in show for the first time was truly awesome.

Also Christian Bale apologized to the guy and took him out to dinner. He did a wonderful radio interview where he agreed he was an a**hole and was not making any excuses. The guy was being incredibly unprofessional and distracting. I've been an Actor where I've had to give an intensely emotional performance and in my eye-line is a key grip looking bored at me. I've been polite about it, but I totally understand the anger/frustration especially if you're trying to get into the proper state and the clock is running out AND you're feeling the pressure of being the reason this movie will either succeed or fail.

I had some drunk idiot spill their drink on me. I turned around asking if they were blind. They said yes but was also drunk. I laughed and to this day we are close mates. He's great to watch movies with. The stares of entering with a blind man are just too much fun.

"A monk is out in a boat meditating with his eyes closed. While he's meditating he feels another boat hit his boat, but he doesn't open his eyes and he continues meditating, and all the while his frustration and anger grow. When he opens his eyes ready to give the pilot of the other boat a piece of his mind, he discovered that it was an unmoored boat that had just bumped up against him." Your story made me think of this little anecdote.

I just want to tell you guys thank you for starting this channel. I was never really much of a Smallville fan but after witnessing all of the horror's that come out of Hollywood and just seeing you guys how well-rounded you are. It really helps me. It's nice to see that some people make it out of hollywood and are well adjusted individuals. Your channel actually helps calm me down.

I love Michael and Tom just talking about “stuff”.
Thank you guys!!!

I have “totally lost it” like that too, AND it was justified! The problem is, even though it happened over a decade ago, I feel sick and upset to my core whenever I think about it. Justified or not, it’s awful. “Don’t stack the dynamite”.

Can someone answer this for me. When I see clips of this podcast it’s always about the bad things that happened, or how someone was unhappy.
I would love to invest the time to watching some of my favorite actors and actresses talk about one of my favorite shows, but it appears that they all absolutely hated every minute. Is that true?

This reminds me of a phase in my life (quite recently) where i would lose my cool and break something whether its a controller or headset. One day i lost my shit and destroyed my cell phone. I felt so dumb after the fact because not only i had to buy a new phone, but the head of our plan was having brain surgery (no pun intended) so i had no choice but to begin a new phone plan which was a new expense on top of my mortgage and my car. Since then, i never freaked out like that again. Whenever im in a heated moment, i remove myself situation and collect my thoughts. Havent had a meltdown ever since.

Christian bale talked about it. It was a hot day. They had been filming for like 13 hours. Everyone on set was hot, tired and pissed off and the director kept going let’s just try one more time. And he snapped. He said like an hour later he called the guy and apologized. He said the director was like okay let’s just wrap for the day. And the take used on screen was one they had done like 3 hours prior.
