the 20" wheels look the best honestly. But not in a photo. In person they're way better. I got every option on my 2024 but kept those wheels i think the others are ugly

I’m sorry but that screen is awful. Idk what BMW was thinking…. The screen does not match anything on the car and looks really out of place. The previous generation was way better.

After owning 4 BMW X5’s, I have to say they continue to be Awesome & Trouble Free. I currently have a 2020 Blue XDrive and a 2021 White XDrive both have 335 HP & are pretty fast at 5.1 seconds. I have had them up to 135MPH and they are very stable at speed. They are perfect for passing 2 Semi Trucks at the same time.
No lack of power. If you want more power get the M50 or M60 X5 with the V8 and over 500HP.
Just took my 2020 X5 on a 2,400 Mile Trip to Arizona and back. It reached 25MPG and it was loaded with 800 pounds of people and gear. I was very pleased with the 110MPH to 120 MPH passes and the constant 75MPH to 80MPH where it cruised for hundreds of miles.
Just a Great BMW overall.

I love the fact that you guys use a decibel meter to check the interior noise. Not sure if you are checking all cars on the same road and at the same speed but this can have a huge effect on the interior noise so unless you are doing this the noise ratings are not as useful. Good review, but for Phev vehicle test drives you may want to include a dedicated slot for testing the real world EV only range and performance. I own a 2023 X5 45e, and best part is that in the past 6 months I have driven about 4K out 5k total miles on EV alone. I have only topped my tank twice. On not so hot days, my X5 has gone more than 50 miles trips per charge. The only thing the new 50e has which I miss is the extra EV power. Otherwise, the 2023 45e was much better at for the price point, and ended up being cheaper than the X Drive gas only version, and with the $7500 tax break it made it much better deal. The 2024 model easily crosses the $80k eligibility if anyone adds some options for the tax break. Something to remember when ordering the car with options.

By far, the best X5 ever! 5.2 secs. 0-60 is less than many have tested. Most say 4.7 sec to 60mph with AWD. Also, torque is listed at 398 lbs. Thx for the review!

Nice review. I am specing one of these out right now and curious about the glass controls. Did you like them? Does the gear selector light up at night? The standard selector has a LED strip on it so you can easily see it. I imagine the glass one has some sort of illumination but there is no info out there about this. Ok I’ve owned the 2024 X5 for a month and lack of controls is really not an issue. First of all auto climate setting is great, I hardly need to change anything. And if I do, I use voice control and it works great. Love the car. Probably my biggest issue, that I haven’t seen in any review, is you really need to slam the door to close it. When I get in the car I really need to remember to use extra strength or it won’t close. I wish it was a delicate smooth motion

Any BMW will last about 80 to 100k miles before you start having transmission and other problems!

i think the new x5 2024 is worst on every part compare to the x5 g05 2019/2023 the exterieur look ugly normal or M SPORT then the 2023 model interieur same with that display not well integrated . the fact they took of most button . i really dont like this new model . one thing i thing is nice is the fact they added more power to it . and thats all

I’d just like to know where you are supposed to attach the front license plate. It looks like a US plate would block some important sensors if you put anywhere near the center of that front bumper.

you can't put the rear seats down from the cargo area? good god why not ... every vehicle on the planet supports that!

Took delivery 4/27 ordered 3/25 - 2024 X5 Carbon Black, M Sport/Pro, 22" black rims lots of compliments about the look. Was little concerned about most of the buttons going away but i8 works very well easy to learn. Car drives/rides great even with the 22"'s. TU2 B58 engine power moves it along very well, V8 not really needed with the new B58.

Received mine on 6/2/23 and its back in the shop with 165 miles on 6/8/2023.
Faulty Turbo gateway.

These guys cant even make a user friendly car OS. Infotainment simply sucks. Map navigation is the worst. Im not sure its any better in 2024 x5.

Hate the fact that the new one has no physical buttons for climate. im the kind of person who constantly changes temp and fan speeds cos i dont like auto climate. This is a big no for me. happy with my 2023 x5, not sure if im gonna be upgrading to a newer x5 in the future if they try to save money by putting evering on the stupid screen

Not much of a difference between the 2023 and 24. I have the 45e. Only an addition 5 mile range with the 2024. Really cant tell difference on looks.

I have an older BMW with physical gauges and buttons. It handles well if I want to have fun and I also use it to get coffee and groceries.
This X5 with the interior LED lightshow seems a bit much.

That elongated tablet looks so fucking stupid. Hate the new lazy design language.

2nd row in x5 is still boring..very bland.
