Wildcat: A KoW Invitational Event

Kings of War in the US has always carried a competitive tournament scene that was open to any and all players to join. After seeing some private events pop up, I wanted to make sure these tournaments got the same attention as the other headline GT's of the country.

I was invited to the Wildcat Invitational in Dayton Kentucky, hosted by Jim Livers. It made me want to start the conversation around why an invitational was desired. After all, everyone wants to be the type of players who would be welcome at any gaming table.

Jim's event was as outstanding as other major open events I've been to. This video takes a look at what the Wildcat is and why Jim wanted to host it. I also meet with Dick Mohn who runs the Golden Goblin in PA to get his insight as to what store play vs competitive play is like and how players can get their stores to bring in Mantic products.
