Pale pink fabric covered ballet flats would last a week in my classroom. Even if I only taught desk work, just walking to class across a playground would discolour them with dirt and grass stains.

I love the look of that Gibson blazer, but I’ve got to say, they just don’t hold up when cleaned. It also seems like the lining isn’t sewn in correctly - it seems to droop beneath the hem. I’ve had 3 of them and have gotten rid of all of them.

I love the focus on basics. As a teacher, I see many social media teachers buying and wearing very bold and out there pieces that pair with only a handful of things if that. Basics like these are the way to go!

Awesome finds, Amanda! I am so tempted to purchase a few of the blazers, coatigans, etc because you make them look very appealing. The only problem is that I live in S. FL and we literally had 4 cold days this past year…a record in my memory of living here for 40+ years! I did leave to go to college in Cincinnati, OH. As an elementary teacher I can easily have 10,000 steps in by 10:O0 and there is no way I could were the bow slides. Would you please style cool sneakers or comfy loafers or booties?
