If you are out on the road and you want to lubricate something there is a great replacement to fine spray oils like WD40 The so-called Ballistol I don't know how easy it is to get it in America, but in Europe it's very easy to get And you really don't need to worry about spraying anything on the side, you can spread it by the liter and nothing will happen because this ballistol is food-grade, it is compatible with the body So usually no rashes or anything like that because the thing is that is even used in the German food industry, which is known for its very high requirements, for example to lubricate machines Which come into direct contact with food You just shouldn't drink it yourself because it tastes disgusting and in the worst case scenario, if you consume it in large quantities, it can lead to stomach pain. Old Army hack for drying shoes or boots. Tie your 4 shoe laces together in a knot. You can Hang them inside your dryer against the door by closing the door with only the knot sticking out.

Electric tooth brushes work much better then regular, some brands of electric brushes work better then others, spinning head is good for getting into tight spaces.

If you dont have cable caps you can knock off the end of a rivet and use that piece

I learned some things and realized that even though I'm not a social bike rider, I'm like-minded, as many of these hacks have been my modus operandi since young adulthood. I don't know if they are easy to find where you are, but I always have several REUSABLE zip ties strapped to the rear rack of my 90s era Univega Alpina.

Pro tip-- I've usually been able to remove a cassette with the cassette tool and an oven mitt or a large rag-- no chain whip necessary.

That peroxide hack. After seeing it in your video someone had a crayon in their pocket with nice clothes in the wash. it worked on crayon. Only tried a couple spots but when i have some time il get to the rest

best trick for clean zip-tie cuts is to use a razor/box cutter/exacto blade and score the "tail" right at the clicky block piece, then just snap it off. Super clean, and perfectly flush.

Also, use spoke nipples for cable crimpers. =)

i have only got 8 gears , is it enough ?

If you don't want strangers touching your bike make those zip-tie ends really pointy ! 😂 And if cable ends are really messed-up, use an adjustable wrench to twist... and if some tiny wires are broken, just un-twist the entire lenght and cut.

Use a pipe cleaner on the hub to keep it shiny.

0.45 zip tie chain stay protector. Just use velcro ties 😅 no way you are getting off the zip ties in the future without scratching something. Velcro also silences chain slap

#11 spoke wrench fits a presta insert.

best hand wash solution- liquid soap of any kind and used coffee grounds! Leaves the hands super soft and nice and clean

For the chain stay thing I use an old inner tube wrapped around with zip ties

Trike rider here. Blood out of fabric is less damaging to fabric if you just soak it in cold water without soap as soon as possible. A little scrubbing with a brush (toothbrush!) and more water as needed. I just let it soak in cold water without soap overnight and little else is needed. Thanks for all your tips. I’m so new to riding that most were over my head but still interesting. 😄
