Countdown Game Show - Number Rounds (29 July 2022)

The contestants seemed to be fixated by 1 large &5 small. What’s wrong with 2&4, 3&3, or 4&2 ?

Surprised contestants missed third round.

6*25=150
*3=450
9*5=45

45+450=495

What doesn't she say 1 large and 5 small, she says little instead of small, is small not inclusive or something for her lol

(9+4)*50+(5+3)

9 + 4 X 50 + 5 + 3 = 658.

100 X 7 + 2 + 6 X 5 = 732.

For the last round: 8*3=32 32+1=33
33*25=825 825+5=830
but then i panicked and added the nine

I got some numbers. The world must know so I must comment.

For the last one I had:
3x8 = 24
24+9 = 33
33x25 = 825
825+5 = 830

732 = 100*(2+6)-7*9-5

Third one, I got 25*6*3 + 9*5

Got 3rd one as (3/6) = 2 (2x25) - 50 (9+1x50) = 500 - 5 = 495 All numbers used.

I got a fun one for 495. 6/3=2. 9+1=10. 10*2=20*25=500-5=495.

(25 × 6 × 3) + (9 × 5) = 450 + 45 = 495.
OR
[25 + (6 × 5)] × 9 = 55 × 9 = 495.

Third game… 6x25=150…150x3=450…9x5=45…450+45=495

I felt proud of myself for getting the 2nd one using all the numbers.
7 x 100 = 700
2 + 6 = 8
9 - 5 = 4
8 x 4 = 32
700 + 32 = 732

On the last one she was on the right track. 9×3=27+5+1=33×25=825+8=833.

For the 495 one I found this within the time.
6*3*25+5*9

I did 25 x 3 + 8 is 83. 9 + 1 is 10 then x both together. Quite easy really

9x3 =27
27-6-1 = 20
20x25 = 500
500 -5 = 495

5x6 =30
+2 = 32

+ (7x100) = 732

So for the 3rd numbers i did
(6x3x25)+(9x5)

And for the fourth
((8x3)+9)x25+5

830 I got quite easily. Bizarrely, I just saw it.

25 x 3 = 75. 75 + 8 = 83. 9+1=10. 10 x 83 = 830.

easiest way for 495 imo
6 x 3 = 18
18 * 25 = 450
9 * 5 = 45
450 +45 = 495

495. I got it as follows:
9+1=10
10x25=250
6:3=2
2x250=500
500-5=450

Rachel is dressed far less sexy and is way more mellow compared to 8 out of 10 cats

25+30=55
55×9=495

Last Numbers Round
3 x 8 = 24
24 + 9 = 33
33 x 25 = 825
825 + 5 = 830 🎉

@mckenna8663 The rules states to use any combination of the numbers (without repeating), NOT necessarily using all of the numbers. The solutions that commenters made are valid and correct unlike what you are suggesting. I'd advise to check the rules again as you're commenting false information on the rules.

I could get 658 without dealing with the 2. Anyone could!

735 - 3 = 732

I think it was better when the host was a bit dim. Colin is about as good as the contestants at times so they don’t seem as impressive. Richard used to be in awe of Carol and the dictionary corner and srsly impressed with the contestants. Colin isn’t as impressed with them. Takes away a bit of their gloss imo.
