Ответитьwith level 1's you should just rocket/sticky jump as demo or soldier so LET HEAVY'S HAVE THE TELE'S

LVL 1 TELEPORTER
number 1: any engineer
number 2: heavy, due to their very slow walk speed
number 3: medic. Self explanatory
number 4: Pyro. he needs to be relitavely close to the enemies to deal damage. get em in there quick
number 5: soldier. He can shoot from a range so he doesnt entirely need to be in there asap, but is still important
number 6: demoman. Same reason as soldier. Demoman go after soliders though for me because they have slower projectiles
number 7: spy. Sometimes its better to walk through a flank route than teleport straight to the frontline and risk your disguise/route getting blown.
number 8: sniper. Stay in the backline
number 9: scout. hes fast as hell, just run there ffs!
LVL 2 TELEPORTER
number 1: any engineer
number 2: heavy, due to their very slow walk speed
number 3: medic. Self explanatory
number 4: Pyro. he needs to be relitavely close to the enemies to deal damage. get em in there quick
number 5: demoman. Its better to get him in quick with lvl 2 tp so he can set up sticky traps asap.
number 6: solider. Frontline person but again has a quite fast projectile.
number 7: spy. Sometimes its better to walk through a flank route than teleport straight to the frontline and risk your disguise/route getting blown.
number 8: sniper. Stay in the backline
number 9: scout. hes fast as hell, just run there ffs!
LVL 3 TELEPORTER
number 1: any engineer
number 2: heavy, due to their very slow walk speed
number 3: medic. Self explanatory
number 4: demoman. Sticky traps are really good, and with lvl 3 tp he can get in quick and set them up
number 5: pyro. He needs to be close, but overall he does less damage than demoman
number 6: soldier. I put soldier here because he is quite straightforward and doesnt need to get in there super quickly, although that depends on the situation.
number 7: sniper. Backline merc, need i say more? hes here instead of spy because spy will likely want to take a flank route
number 8: spy. Depends. If its a really damn good spy, get in there quick and fuck shit up. If its a mediocre spy, just go in the order.
number 9: scout. Just run.
These are just my opinions, but the spots can vary depending on situations. Like if we needed alot of dps than soldier, demo and pyro would be high priority, but if we were already winning then the support classes can go first to set up. ALso i like to specify that theres arent obligatory, just suggestions for convenience and frontline/backline support.
I know I’m late but here would my how I place as engie
Tele Entrance: outside spawn
Exit: The middle of the back lines of the team I’m on
Dispenser: The most accessible Health and Ammo pack to where my team is holding(I won’t need to tell them where the dispensing is as when they retreat for health and ammo they’ll naturally find it.)
Sentry: In a spot the enemy team has to destroy it to make progress to progress but away from any other friendly engineer’s sentry unless I put the bubble on mine to cover their sentry.(The placement isn’t to get kills on competent players but to waste their time making them blow up a server sided aimbot to complete the objective)
I don’t give a shit I’m going to steal the tele every time!

ОтветитьI often find my faith in humanity restored a bit when I leave spawn and see an orderly queue of people waiting to use the teleporter one by one

ОтветитьMan I can tell you how many times I got on a teleporter as a heavy main only to have a spy or sniper push me off and take it instead. IM LITTERALLY THE SLOWEST CLASS

ОтветитьSee, I have the opposite problem where I'm so averse to the idea of potentially being rude to my teammates that I basically never take teleporters ever, even when I could (and probably should tbh). I'm aware of how much I suck at the game and I play Pyro, to boot, which is not the most important class to be giving tele priority to. So yeah, singular Heavy that's going to respawn in 16 seconds, you can have that tele instead, I can just run there myself it's fine. I'm fine
ОтветитьAs an engineer I always let everyone else use the teleporter before I get on just to be kind, though I guess using it first would be more efficient.

ОтветитьThe most infuriating thing ever is when Engies place the Teleporter facing the wrong way. Even if it’s not against a wall, it might lead you to the opposite direction of the battlefield.
I’m not sure why it doesn’t face towards you by default.
that spray means nothing now that u cant see them in casual even with hide sprays disabled

You are one of tf2’s chosen ones, how can you make such an error. Don’t you use the gunslinger??
One time I saw two enemy players fighting over a teleporter, and they both burnt to death, and I laughed in the charred faces. They got was they deserved, and I got free kills and destruction. I died while laughing at them, but I think me taunting was justified.

ОтветитьThis tutorial on how to use teleporters correctly really helped me especially who goes first in a line so I was playing Pyro and there are a bunch of different classes at the same Teleporter and they all made a line and I was before medic but I knew to let the medic go first since he’s gonna affect the team more and sniper was after the medic and I knew that he needs to be behind people more so I should take the teleporter so tutorial really helped so thanks

ОтветитьToday I had a 55 teleport round as engi, it was so satisfying to see that that poor machine couldnt even rest! Even the instan use ot got after relocating it every now and then! Might have had it facing the wrong way tho, only learned just now that I need to take that into account.
