Mythos beer is delicious!
ОтветитьLoving all these details! Definitely keeping this handy for later😉 Let’s get this project a huge success!!!
ОтветитьJellyfish around Phuket were a nightmare. Once a day, roughly, clogged the AC inlet. And then the strainer is full of stinging snot...
ОтветитьNice work on figuring out the issue...and I totally get that when something breaks, you gotta fix it!!
ОтветитьPut a T in the line so when it happens again you can attach the pump and just open the valve. Also a power air pressure device might be good . My problem like that was seaweed when I hand to stand to for a barge in narrow waters in an island passage and the engine was overheating from lack of water . It was very scary
ОтветитьMy boat is in Greece also.. at first I had a MK 2 plank with carpet... then I got a MK 3 ladder with teak boards.... Now I have a MK V fancy folding aluminum. but seriously... just get a good 2x 12 plank... or the equivalent one in metric... I should know that.....haha.... omg... that was funny about the nickers.... but ya... for the plank just don't leave it in for harbors that have swell... seen one fall between the wall and the boat... and a Italian boat made a big wave in the harbor... and stuffed the plank right through the stern of a beautiful Benny... Love the Rabbit Stiffado... and ya... always go with what the family says is best..
ОтветитьBecause I normally sleep with the hatches open on the boat... that noise of running water all night or generators all night from power boats... drive me crazy... I know... first world problems.... but just be kind.. and ask your neighbors if they are ok with the noise...during silent hours... yours is underneath.. and that is much better then the power boats...
ОтветитьWhen it comes to Masts size does matter ... unless you have got a pair of Panties in your pocket. Nuff Sed
ОтветитьWhy are you doing this at night ? Wait until daylight !
Ответить🌏✈️⛵️☀️🇦🇺
ОтветитьNever been a fan of L connectors on thru-hulls. I'd replace it with a straight tail or with a T connector and plug the arm of the T so it was easy to remove the plug and shove something straight up the thru-hull to clear it. Because you know it's going to happen again! :)
Ответитьyour lucky nick is very handy on the tools and is willing to have a go.
Most blokes i know will pull things apart without taking pictures and then have know idea how they go back together
You guys are Just Great - I love the reality - been there done that and everything comes at a price : but know this - it’s dark , cold, grey in the UK. Your episodes are my escape and a wonderful memory prompt: thanks
ОтветитьWe have had this ac problem a million times and almost always you have to go swim , the pump should be self priming , if not shoot me a message and I'll show you one that is self priming
ОтветитьSmile..!!!
ОтветитьWhy are air conditioners on sailboats water cooled?
Ответить🙏🙏🙏🤛👍💐💐💐⛵️🦅😎🇺🇸
ОтветитьYou got the Frank Zappa look going on there 😎
Ответить😅a lot of fixing on a new boat.
ОтветитьI thought Nick was the Greek waiter when he came out with the beers at the beach bar 😂
ОтветитьLove stifado. Ugh. Enjoy!
ОтветитьAC that works is a matter of survival, and can not be under estimated in the tropics and affects children and elderly badly.
ОтветитьVery few boats have proper insulation also they basically empty shell and cost a fortune to cool down. Just imagine having a fridge with no insulation.
ОтветитьYou need to bleed that pre pump from the air or it wont pump water through the ac.
ОтветитьIt's annoying but also immensely satisfying to fix something.
ОтветитьHi Teresa and Nick. Can you tell me what month of year you were there. Not too crowded which is nice
ОтветитьNick is rocking that mustache. :)
ОтветитьIs it me or does Nick look like Charlie Chaplin with that tash? All he needs is a bowler hat and a cane. 🤣🤭🤣🤭
ОтветитьNick's a true guy's guy!! Good job!
ОтветитьGreat Video, Has Nick got a part time job as a Freddy Mercury, tribute act 😅
ОтветитьTry this, put a tee after the thru hull connect the tee with a ball valve to your fresh water system. Normally you would have the ball valve closed. When you need to clear air lock etc.close the thru hull, open the ball when water starts overboard reverse the procedure. Has worked on my boat for over years
ОтветитьFirst world problem LOL
ОтветитьI thought planking was an exercise for your abs...
ОтветитьGreat work team xx
ОтветитьHow much was the marina fee
ОтветитьGood Episode. I love this boat, but it is maybe troo big for me
ОтветитьProbably a jellyfish
ОтветитьAt least you can sleep in for the morning.
ОтветитьI laughed at your comment Teresa that "Nick is running around in Mr. Fix-It mode." -- very funny.
Ответить❤ amazing place guys. 😊👍🌏🐬
ОтветитьWhy don't they just make them air cooled instead of seawater? It's always a disaster
ОтветитьNick is looking like a 70's porn star with that mustache... and I'm here for it..... 😂
ОтветитьWell done guys and thank you for sharing Miss T. Good problem solve - it's a standard plumbing thing to reverse the flow on a fitting that's suspected blocked, nothing wrong with using air, in fact it's a sometimes a little safer than water, less chance of an over-pressure and breaking something, which is easier than one might imagine. When a pump that is meant for fluids is spinning in an air gap or bubble and not drawing, the term is "cavitation" or "cavitating" eg " I can't see any outflow, I bet the bloody pump is cavitating" 😅🤗
ОтветитьIt sux on land when your air condition decides it wants to go on a vacation and it is like 110F outside. On the boat I cannot even imagine whats that like.
ОтветитьSo funny, seamless granny pants!!! In his pocket?!!! Thanks for the laugh!!!
ОтветитьDo patrons get access to nicks mustache ?🎉
Ответить
