My family stayed until the next showing in May 1977. We did leave after the Cantina... ; ) What did they do with Space Mountain?

My mom also got me into Star Wars. We both already shared a love for Star Trek, we use to watch episodes together. I knew of Star Wars but when my mom took my to see Episode 1 in theaters, I was hooked. She supported my love and obsession being a teenager buying the toys and posters. Now, still supporting me as an adult being a huge fan. I love my momma so much, and Star Wars is just one of those things that will always remind me of her. ❤

I'm younger but I remember Star Wars was something that my Dad and I did together. I was so excited when he got us tickets to opening night for the episode 2 with Anakin.

Great video, Chris!
Beautiful, touching story about you and your Mom going to see Star Wars together.
I shed some bittersweet tears, heres why:
I grew up in Sunnyvale, CA. Parents divorced when I was 9 and I'm an only child.
In the summer of '77 when I went to visit my Dad who moved to Illinois, he took me to see Star Wars.
IT BLEW... ME... AWAY!!!
Lost my Dad to dementia 5 years ago. I now live in Illinois and every time I drive by that theater, it always makes me smile.
Always appreciate the positivity you spread. Keep it up. The world sure does need it!

It's hard to explain, but in the scene where Han and Luke are fighting the Tie Fighters in New Hope, when Han asks Luke, "You in kid?" As a young kid, I thought he said something silly like lincleep. And my family have said it ever since!

Star Wars is special for me too. It was a thing my Dad and I always bonded over. He was the Vader to my Leia and most of my fondest memories of us have to do with Disney trips and Star Wars stuff. I lost my dad 6 years ago and it's hard to go to the Parks and. Ot cry remembering him having fun there. He would sit in EPCOT all day long when they came down to see me working at WDW except for days when I performed, then he was in the theater seeing every show I did!

One of my early memories is of Star Wars too,. I went with my dad. It has to have been a few years after it originally came out as I was only three in 1977 and the theater wasn't very crowded. I'll be at DL next week for my 50th birthday and at Star Wars Night on Tuesday.

I've seen every Star Wars movie on opening night with my two brothers. They are my best friends and we are all fans. But my favorite movie is The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. When my son was about 18 months old, we were trying to get him to take a nap. My dad said to put on a movie and he would hold my son and watch the movie. My son quickly fell asleep, but my dad continued watching Pooh, with my son in his lap laughing through the whole movie. My dad is long since gone and now my son has a son of his own, but I can still hear my dad laughing every time I watch the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

Hey Chris I just subscribed to your channel. I wanted to share a Star Wars memory of mine with you. When I saw return of the Jedi many years ago in the 80s, and Luke told Lea in time she will learn to use the force like him, as a little girl I was so excited. I wanted so badly to be a Jedi too lol. And then when the force awakened came out and they introduced Rey the little girl in me was overjoyed. I was so happy to see a female character as powerful with the force as Luke. 🥰

Why are you making me cry during a Star Wars Nite vlog?! 😭 It's really great to see a vlogger who just enjoys being at the parks, enjoys the simple things, and does what they want to do while there. I find vlogs so much more enjoyable when the creator is enjoying their day too. Thanks for an awesome video and getting me pumped for Star Wars Nite next week!

Aurabesh is the STAR WARS alphabet. Not the language. If you've noticed, the language is English.
The droid with the Jawas was R5-D4.
For being a big fan and seeing all the movies, you're saying light side, dark side, Sith side, rebel side. There's the Force and the Dark Side of the Force.
The cantina band's sign said: One Night Only Figran D'an and the Modal Nodes

THE FACE YOU MAKE WHEN YOU REALIZE THAT STAR WARS IS THE STORY OF AN ORPHANED BOY WHO BECAME RADICALIZED AFTER A MILITARY STRIKE KILLS HIS FAMILY. HE IS INDOCTRINATED INTO AN ANCIENT RELIGION, JOINS A BAND OF INSURGENTS, AND CARRIES OUT A TERRORIST ATTACK KILLING OVER 300,000

Completely understand the 'so much to do' aspect Chris. That;'s why when my friend and I were fortunate enough to do Mickey's No So Sacary Halloween Party in Florida, we went twice, once for the shows and then the other night was rides and character meet and greets. Expensive but worth it.

My parents took me to see Star Wars when I was 7. I knew it was a big deal but I didn't really understand how big a deal it was. I didn't know I was supposed to be scared by any of it, and during the trash compactor scene I laughed at the monster because I thought it was funny. I didn't understand why no one else was laughing and my mom was shushing me... My family didn't have a lot of money, so I only got to see it that one time in the theater, but then the summer it landed on HBO I practically lived at at a friend's house watching Star Wars over and over again. These days it's a bit hard for me to make it to the park for an event like that, but thank you so much for sharing!
