It’s so strange seeing paire go to his knees and celebrate at the end like this meant so much to him. When i’ve mainly seen what he has become in the most recent years. Where i’ve seen someone not try or give a damn about playing like i’ve never seen, at this pro level by anyone in any sport ever.

Kyrgios is a DB!

Two players whose careers would have been very different if all the courts everywhere didn't play like clay. If court speeds were even half of what they were in the 1990s then both these guys would be consistent top 5 players. Kyrgios should have won Wimbledon two or three times but unfortunately it now plays more or less like the French open. Surface homogeneity is killing tennis by making exciting players like these guys amusing side shows rather than the major champions they deserve to be.

Crazy talented guyd, weakest mentality. What they could achieve if they kept playing tennis is terrifying. Amazingly instead of progressing they followed the way down, big loss for them and for the tennis world. Good retirement to them ;)
