INDIA DID NOT LAND ON THE MOON. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), conducted a lunar mission called Chandrayaan-2. Chandrayaan-2 was launched on July 22, 2019, and its goal was to explore the Moon, specifically its south polar region. The mission included an orbiter, a lander named Vikram, and a rover named Pragyan.

While the orbiter continues to study the Moon from orbit, the lander Vikram faced challenges during its descent and lost communication with ISRO just before landing. Unfortunately, Vikram did not make a successful soft landing on the Moon.

However, it's important to note that the Chandrayaan-2 orbiter is still operational and continues to provide valuable data and images of the Moon. So, while the lander did not achieve its intended goal, India did reach the Moon's orbit and has contributed to lunar exploration through the successful operation of the orbiter.

Bravo ISRO! This is an astonishing achievement for real, kudos to all the scientists, engineers and the workers behind this project! As much as I love India exploring space, it's sad to see how they living standards in India are right now. Don't get me wrong, I tend to spread no hate against India as I am an Indian myself, I just fail to understand how the government gets the money for the space projects but none for development? Like the roads, infrastructure, public services and much more factors are so under-developed.... It's absolutely terrible to compare India to any other countries as we have had our own ups and downs through the past years but still, the government needs to do something right. Why is it that everyone wants to move out from India? Why is it that Indians get so much hate in other countries? Why is it that Indians are seen dirty and "third world people"?? Why is it that North Indians and South Indians fight all the time? Why is it that East Indians receive so much hate and are excluded and neglected so much? Why can't we just co-exist with each other and lead a better life? Why can someone not raise their voice against the wrong doings? Why is it that people are silenced when they come forward addressing such issues? Why does it all have to be this way?

I think Pragyan rover's was rotating to get a stable position (direction) from where it could get proper sunlight for its solar pannel.
