Iam confused with Emily Blunt and Evangeline,they really look a like..and it says there that Evangeline was the new born baby..?

I think in the second one they go to an Island and play the feedback from the hearing aid on a big speaker. Just a guess tho.

My sister inlaw said that as a middle child, this film was only unrelistic because they must be the only family to be letting the youngest walk behind while the middle child is in dad's arms, 😆

Theoretically, if their hearing is supersonic, to the point where they can hear the smallest noise quite far away, then there would be no way that the monsters can't hear their heartbeat within a few feet of proximity

How did they make the box without making noise?

You’d think that the monsters would be mainly at rivers/waterfalls. Since they constantly make noise.

Great movie but I call bull on the eveready long ahzz lasting E-Cylinders. Fire the tech that did the math for the cylinders. There is no minimal flow that would make this make sense.

My only problem with this movie is the alien itself, I just can’t fathom a NATO 7.62mm AP round not being able to penetrate the creature’s exoskeleton.

I still don't believe the creatures are aliens. I feel they are a biological weapon created to destroy most of the population of the planet. I think most of the elite and powerful people are in reinforced bunkers waiting for creatures to die off, who only have a life span of 2-3 years. The majority of the worlds military (and their families) are there to for extra protection, which would explain why there are no major battles with the creatures. And when the time is right, they will emerge from their bunkers to run the world again, rounding up any and all survivors as a source of labor.

Neither the first or second movie explains how the creatures got here, which is realistic since the family would not have the means to learn the truth. Until it's to late, that is.

I had no idea she was deaf in the first movie. I figured someone in the family would be because they all know sign language, but while watching the movie, it seemed to me that none of them were. I thought the hearing aid was something dad made to either detect or scare off the monster. I didn't realize it was just a hearing aid.

Imagine how awkwardly silent the sex would have been to get her knocked up...

Having a deaf child is really helpful in this scenario actually because they can communicate easily. Imagine if she was blind. No one would be able to tell her what's going on

Using loud noises would work but only for a bit either they adapt to the sound or in a fit or rage and agony destroy the source. Then due to human nature we panic or so something that makes noise and even so playing ear rape or using sonic warfare may cause some new issue and when we panic we tend to scream also militaries wouldn't know what to do against an alien threat their first attempt is shooting it which fails so its natural to go onto higher calibres and use rockets missiles or anything that would kill it this would take up to 30 days before they realise it is possible to use sound but in the confusion they and in theory they would and should be dead because the army is great at making noise then also who uses sonic warfare the PR may not go well and even if they did get rid of the threat someone now has ideas and knows too much so it becomes pointless not to mention very hard to set up a giant ring of cars that blast music because they will be crushed and then you will be heard also this is about 80 days after they landed and nobody could work out in 80 days what hurts them because they probably made noise and are dead now it just takes a mistake like the lift making noise or something else that probably kills you
