The sea will take you and you’ll never be seen again. Great reactions by crew
ОтветитьThats a competent captain and crew. they rescued their guys out of the water like bosses. Well done.
ОтветитьI only ever watched this show (season 1 till now) Because of Sig. I usually skip others, unless they have a disaster.
ОтветитьSigs father instincts kicked in soon as he heard it was clarke and the cameraman good rescue guys
ОтветитьThe Northwestern is the BEST boat on deadliest catch hands down. The way they handle crisis situations is on a WHOLE other level than the other boats
ОтветитьThis seems incredibly staged for TV...
ОтветитьI thought sig was about to start making out with the guy 😅
ОтветитьClark did NOT let go of that camera man while they were in the water. Unbelievable. Shows how much they are all one crew.
ОтветитьThey both NEEDED that hug. ❤ 🫂 Sig has always been one of the genuinely caring Captains from the show.
Ответить"MAN OVERBOARD? WHO IS IT???"
Sid. It does not matter. lol
Thats his SON ❤
ОтветитьWhen sig broke down it was heart breaking😕
ОтветитьI am here to confirm the story from Simon's Speech, Like this if you heard his Speech
ОтветитьIt's staged or a emergency drill
ОтветитьHell ya respect to the camera guy for risking his own life
ОтветитьThat looked suspiciously intentional by both guys. Publicity stunt. Why no safety harnesses? Occupational Safety and Health Administration might have a problem with the Captain.
ОтветитьThe real hero is the cameraman standing around filming them
ОтветитьIt's so lucky they still were conscious and had muscle control to grab the ring for self rescue. A couple of seconds later and it would have been all over.
ОтветитьThey were seconds away from incapacitating hypothermia, which would have led to immediate loss of motor skill control in the central nervous system then unconsciousness. Which then would have been death. To fall off a ship at sea in the bearing straight in the winter is 34 degrees and that's a death sentence unless immediate rescue. Even storm suits can only keep you warm for so long.
ОтветитьThat was his son-in-law, Clark. Must've been terrifying.
ОтветитьThey're really lucky that they essentially were at a dead stop and that it was calm because otherwise that could have ended a lot worse.
ОтветитьThata scary. One my mums friends lost her son at sea. They was letting the tawkwr net out into the north ses it was a rough night. He apparently lost his footing fell into the net. By the time the pulled the net uphe was gone. He vanished into the dark night. Fiahermen dont get paid enough for the food they put on our plates
ОтветитьPardon my ignorance, but how cold would that water be roughly?
ОтветитьAnd am I correct in thinking that Sig loves Clark more as a son than as a son-in-law?
ОтветитьCamera guy held on the camera. If it were me that camera would at the bottom of the ocean.
ОтветитьHoly crap I couldn’t imagine!
ОтветитьWow! Thank goodness they got them out of the water fast 🙏
ОтветитьSbit! That's the same scenario that guy that John rescued was in!
ОтветитьThis was on sigs watch! It's HIS fault
ОтветитьThe only other times I ever saw Sig with that scared look on his face was when he found out that the Destination had sunk with all hands and get captain, one of Sig's best friends, and when ice had built up on the Northwestern when Mandy returned from her maternity leave
ОтветитьThanks be to God
ОтветитьSig is a tough guy but has a heart. Dudes a legend
ОтветитьSig and Johnny are the goat captains
Ответитьi love that he loves the guys so much ❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьNow that’s a captain. Sig is the best. Thank god those men are okay.
ОтветитьRespect for camera guy who tried to save him from falling overboard and ended up falling himself and sig and north western are my faves in the entire show but the massive downfall with the northwesterns design its its forward facing cab so the decks behind the cab so its hard to see whats going on where the rest of the fleet has the cabs overlooking the deck
ОтветитьClark is one strong human he was in rain gear which just fills up with water acting like an anchor pulling you down and here he is pulling the camera guy to the life ring then gets the camera man in and has to tread water till they can lower down the boom to pull him out that just showed me how strong that man is
ОтветитьSig.. <3
ОтветитьThe look of shock on clark's face after he was rescued says it all. He's thinking: "I almost died. What would Mandy and the children think if I did?"
ОтветитьSo am I looking at this right? a chain was caught on something like they said in the beginning- camera man is holding on with one hand, other dude comes up grabs the chain the chain break(you can see something move when he grabs up), his hand hits the camera guy as he falls back knocking him in too, I’m guessing the camera man tried to grab the box thing and his hand slipped cause all the water-
ОтветитьThat was pretty cool
ОтветитьThis was so staged watch closely and don’t let any moment be missed on you. Clark let go and the other guy doesn’t even try to fake it he just jumped in. Now I will say this I don’t think Sid was in on it he was truly emotional but I can see the camera guy saying I’ll give you 10 thousand if you give me a shot if you going in the water and Clark saying only if you come in after me. You all will get mad but watch closely and there’s no other explanation on what happened there
ОтветитьGood thing it was a calm evening on the Bering Sea
ОтветитьI've always admired Capt. Sig for his focus on safety. They got those men out of that water lightning fast. Emergencies show your character. God bless Sig and Clark and all those men: Clark put the cameraman first while being in the Bering Sea, and Sig handled that boat and situation as the master he is. Had to be terrifying, but well done, Northwestern!
ОтветитьI am new to watching Deadliest Catch ( of course I've heard much about it over the years). I am a bit confused about the care rendered, once someone falls into the ocean. If they have a rescue suit on, why is CPR not continued until the person is warmed? The well known adage is "warm & dead...not cold & dead." Oftn, when someone's core temp drops & vital signs are absent, the person can be slowly warmed &, once their temp is near normal, a shock can be delivered to restart the heart. When someone falls into fridge water, the mammalian response is triggered by the body,& blood is shunted away from the extremities, to the vital organs ( brain & heart). So NO ONE should be pronounced dead, when pulled from icy water(even many hours later), till they are warmed. Does anyone know why this well known trauma paradigm is NOT followed, when someone falls from a ship? Confusing🫤
ОтветитьAll of you excellent ...
Ответить"The Water Is You:re Friend. Until the Water is "Not" you're Friend."
ОтветитьNot the camera guy still holding onto the camera through all that 💀
ОтветитьThat looked fake af. They probably need better ratings
ОтветитьFake!
