I just had to screenshot the part with Chris Pratt and Jack Black 😂
Ответить'But in the games, they both end up powering the death lazer that the evil team tries to use to wipe out France'
They are not the evil team then.
"Zygarde didn't end up having their own game" Well look where we are now...
ОтветитьWhere can i find the art for the thumbnail id really like to use it as my PC background.
ОтветитьI love your design
ОтветитьLegendary in Pokemon and my first thought isn't even appearance. It's not if they are on the box. It's no more flying, no more psychic and no more dragon. Let's be a little more diverse, for a generation or five. The "pseudo" legendary lines of Dratini's ilk are even more stale. Dragon-rock/ground/rock/dark-dragon-steel/psychic-dragon-dragon-dragon-dragon-dragon. At least with the starters always being grass-fire-water that serves a purpose of quickly teaching the type match ups central to battling, so while I wouldn't mind other type triangles, it at least serves a game play purpose. The same can't be said about the constant spamming of the same three types for legendary monsters, or the same one type for the not quite legendary monsters. If it was to prevent players from forming "balanced" teams of high stat monsters, not including all the old monsters in the new game pairs solved that problem back in pair#8. Might as well have 680 or greater "base stat total" abominations of the fire-fighting and water-dark variety on the face of your game now. Doesn't matter if they can help account for Mewtwo's weaknesses and force team building towards higher stat spreads when Mewtwo can't be traded in anyway. "Third member" is fighting-dark, they all are weak to fairy. Tradeoff preserved, novelty restored.
Good breakdown on the designs though.
Why did the thumbnail reminds me or the icons of monster from Monster Hunter?
ОтветитьYou're a talented person. Being able to observe, understand and apply design philosophy both on the specific case level, surrounding context level and a thematic level is impressive.
Having just passed an anatomy class I adore your take on the box legendaries. It's one thing to absorb and transform the principles of the box art legendaries but yours fulfil some purpose. They go beyond just the dichotomy of process and action, but by labelling them by logic and passion you open up a zone to explore the human experience and introduce the rhetorical triangle by extending the legendary themes to encompass logos and pathos and quite possibly bring in an ethos into the equation which pays homage to Pokemon's tendency to have some sort of unification or arbiter between their two opposing sides.
(Though I'm not sure how that would translate into a STEM representation as I lack a suitable idea for an arbiter relevant to the nervous system. Perhaps the heart since it is the staple literary locus of human ethical code and without it neither nervous systems function. Perhaps something else.)
This STEM based game, regardless of when and if it comes out one day, is a marvellous concept. A rich idea and one needed in today's world.
Do you source the audio for these videos or make them yourself because I really love the renditions of XY's and USUM's themes here.
ОтветитьGiratin is the god of gravity
ОтветитьBut I also love how koraidon has the bumpy textured wheels and miraidon is smooth. Smooth wheels don’t really have much grip but it does make miraidon look futuristic meanwhile I keep thinking of trucks when I see koraidon even though motorcycles definitely have those bumps (and everything with a wheel tbh cus of the grip)
ОтветитьLegendary: Available during normal gameplay. Pre/Post-Game
Mythical : Available during timed/special events.
Some Mythicals have become "Semi-Legends" due to game mechanics allowing people to have access to them in game all the time. Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Deoxys (the first one btw), Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Keldeo, and Meloetta are all "Semi-legends" because of this. Yes I made the term up, but it's worth noting
Groudon Kyogre and Rayquayza are a box legendary trio
ОтветитьI like most of these as concept themself, and background; but i am bothered about the repetitivity they tend to have in game data, too often similar stats, type, ability; many people talk about repetitivity of starters and pseudo legendaries, not about these?
If next gen box legendaries are again physical and special twin i'll sabotate GF; even already seen ability or common type.
Ew what did Palkia do to deserve that? Look how they massacred my boy!
ОтветитьNASI TUMPENG MENTIONEDD RRRRRAAAHAHH(overproud indonesian)
ОтветитьI love how you make your own designs and how you explain it
ОтветитьHmmm, strange. Personally, I really liked palkia's design/pearl in general, and it was seemed much cooler than diamond, but idk. Guess it depends on the person lmao
ОтветитьMaybe the third one can be the autonomic nervous system
ОтветитьBlurple
ОтветитьBluple
ОтветитьI always liked dialga and Palkia for the moral ambiguity their designs represent. You don’t really know what their nature is or what they stand for based on the designs
Ответитьno but why does effortore's stats look busted ash
ОтветитьSo sad that Zygarde never got its own game
ОтветитьGreat video, small correction. Arceus does have an origin form in legends as well.
ОтветитьThat Logical Sensor ability in VGC would be horrific.
ОтветитьThis is great, the only problem is that Affersora is undoubtedly much stronger than Effortore. Affersora’s ability is amazing, the immunites are great for defense and grant it free switches into two types, not to mention healing. Effortore’s ability is almost useless, Effortore can now hit ground types with electric stab, and ghost types with fighting stab. This does nothing because Effortore could just hit ground types with fighting stab, and ghost types with electric stab anyway. Plus, Affersora has a type advantage. If there is multiplayer in this game, Affersora would dominate and Effortore would see little to no usage. (Some of this might be wrong if this game has a different type chart or mechanics than Pokemon)
Ответитьomg love the monster hunter legendaries icons
ОтветитьSmash
Ответитьthat's an insane ability lmfao
ОтветитьWHY DID MIRAIDONS ARM LOOK THAT THAT ON THE THUMBNAIL
ОтветитьThe explanation for the legendaries is so cool
Ответитьokay, but you could use these as box legendaries, they look really cool
ОтветитьYour Ho-Oh drawing was sick
ОтветитьAffersora is amazing.
ОтветитьIf STEMA is published one day, I'll be its first ever player! I love all the research, concepts and efforts ever put in this series
ОтветитьThumbnail looks awesome
ОтветитьI'm sorry but I just don't like those 2 "legendary" creatures you made. The head of the red one looks great and fair enough the claws are okay but the bottom half is overdesigned imho and there's almost nothing I like about the blue one I'm afraid.
And yet still better than most of gen 5 onwards.
