Este dilema es difícil de resolver depende mucho de la calidad de los luchadores , los estilos , judo es una mezcla entre greco y libre ya que se utilizan los ganchos con los pies , lo que no cabe duda que los dos son dos grandes deportes !
ОтветитьIt's usually the MMA ignoramuses talking shit about Judo.
I remember hearing A LOT OF SHIT from MMA guys who had never learned judo or who thought they could just ask you to teach them Uchi Mata.
They're clueless of how refined a martial art judo is, even compared with regular Western wrestling (Even "catch").
In Judo you don't just "learn moves". There is a vast prerequisite of learning how to move and how to feel out the opponent.
One doesn't just "learn Uchi Mata". IT is an advanced technique that requires a mastery of various skills BEFORE you can learn to do it properly. Yet... it LOOKS simple.
No gi judo is definitely harder but possible. Just got to becareful for your shots
ОтветитьGARDNER RULON VS HIDEHIKO YOSHIDA BOTH ARE OLYMPIC CHAMPIONS IN WRESTLING AND JUDO AND THEY FOUGHT MMA RULES. WRESTLING WON
ОтветитьDoes anyone perhaps know the two at the end?
ОтветитьJudo has amazing takedowns (probably best of any martial art) but often needs work when it comes to submissions and actual ground work.
ОтветитьI think the poster has over-estimated my ability to tell who is who.
ОтветитьPracticing judo without the gi is just wrestling
ОтветитьJudo no joke
ОтветитьP R O M O S M 😋
ОтветитьI'm not a grappler but I think it is like the difference between muay thai and karate
Ответитьdifferent ways of wrestling...
ОтветитьWhy are you using AI to narrate this lol
ОтветитьAleksandr Karelin would destroy all these guys
ОтветитьChamizo is using judo not wrestling
ОтветитьI dare to state that judo because of the judo gi has hundreds of possibilities that wrestling has not. So judo is way much more technical, creative, and (sorry) more intelligent. I also dare to state that judo evoluated from several countries (China, Korea, Japan) has a greater tradition from self defence, close combat and real matial art. However I would be the last person who would state that top wrestlers are less sportsmen.
ai voice sucks
ОтветитьThey're both wrestling except one has dozens and dozens of throws/submissions.
ОтветитьThere's something that is almost always denied in Judo.
As Judo ia asymmetrical sport like shot put, discus throw etc and weight lifting, olympic (ground) gymnastics and even sometimes Greco wrestling is almost symmetrical, there it is no coincidence that a lot of successful Judoka are left handed:
Yamashita, Saito, Ishii, Riner, Krapalek and ..
Look Katabushi vs. Blas.
God/Jesus loves y’all
ОтветитьI've seen Top Judokas go up against top Wrestlers. Most of the matched ended in draws or with unable to submit/pin the other. That is because both are just that good at what they do. But you wanna know what would be a problem for both? Someone with Mastery in both Japanese Jiu-Jitsu and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Ответитьwrestling feels pretty high impact high reward no long term develop. 8 minutes of jujitsu seems like 2 hours to me. I am no master.
Fake crap! They were playing wrestling rules. Oh real Kodokan judokan would have been no match for the losing wrestler. I have done it myself, embarrassed a state champion freestyle.
ОтветитьDon't put khabib statement out of contexts, what he mean is that judo has many member countries, their medal has more prestige than much fewer wrestling countries.
With millions competing in judo comparing to hundreds of thousands competing in wrestling...
The judogi is not a kimono!
ОтветитьIf both are equal is size weight and skill in their respective disciplines, then the one that has the better understanding of their opponent will (luck non withstanding) win.
ОтветитьBoth fighting styles are great, when athletes like these clash, then it's up to which individual is more efficient, and not which style is better.
ОтветитьIn my experience, wrestlers have a hard time with the gi. If they can shoot in from far away they’ll have better luck, but a solid grip on the jacket with good kuzushi and foot work shuts down the majority of wrestlers takedown ability. That said, I don’t personally know hardly any judoka who are very good without a jacket because they don’t practice without a jacket.
ОтветитьTruth is that ALL of judoka and wrestlers of that level are plain universal grapplers who crosstrained AF. They are neither Judoka nor Wrestlers anymore. Judo and Wrestling are just their jobs.
ОтветитьDifferent rules though. Judokas don't mind being on their backs and can choke out opponents or submit them, but a wrestler would be disqualified for doing that. It would be like letting Connor MacGregor kick Mayweather in the head. The fight would be over after one round depending on which sport's rules are used.
ОтветитьBoth are brutal. It all falls down to actual training, and total commitment. Like anything else. You can ALWAYS find an ultimate warrior in any art.
ОтветитьI wrestled in college and have trained with a lot of judo guys. We went with gis and without and honestly a lot of our techniques are very similar. I learned a lot from the judo practitioners I sparred with. Ntm the way they transition from takedowns/throws to submissions you don't see that much in jiu jitsu once again really helped. Long way of saying as a wrestler i have nothing but reapect for Judo.
ОтветитьIt depends on the person. And are you competing in a wrestling or judo competition. They have different rules and scoring. Also, a lot of the time people do both. They both give you different tools. The dojos I liked had no gi practices that really helped my wrestling
ОтветитьI wonder if both the judo experts and the freestyle experts would still dive for the legs if they got in a street fight? In a street fight you have to worry about striking.
ОтветитьJudô 🥋
ОтветитьI just saw this compilation this morning, but it was immediately a huge source of joy for me (as a broken down old former Judoka who also has great respect for wrestling), and I am confident I will be returning to this video for second, third, fourth ( et cetera ) viewings in the near future.
Thanks for putting this together.
When they are trying to grab, spit in their face, punch them in the throat (hsing-I) or tear off their fingers (Wally Jay) or poke them in the eye or bite their nose or head butt (remy presas). Point is, get dirty.
ОтветитьJudo one of the few martial arts including muay thai, ju jitsu and few others that work the rest is merely posing
ОтветитьThis comment section is WILD
ОтветитьThe video is way too clear. You need to lower the resolution A LOT.
ОтветитьMany, many people watched this video and asked - "WHICH ONE IS THE JUDOKA AND WHICH ONE IS THE WRESTLER?" Too bad the makers of the video didn't have enough sense to include that in the video.
ОтветитьThe man .
ОтветитьThis could have been insightful if there had been a way to distinguish the wrestlers from the judokas.
ОтветитьGreat video. Thank you.
ОтветитьWrestling is a very small sport no real comparison. Zero submissions in wrestling so what exactly are they competing in?
ОтветитьDrop the annoying music please. Put the sound of the fighters on instead
ОтветитьVery interesting topic and great video. I like both Judo and Wrestling, also Jiu Jitsu, Catch Wrestling and Sambo. I teach and Train Self Defense, MMA, BJJ & NoGi Grappling so this is useful for me as a researcher and analyzer of Martial Art. Thank You and Have a Nice Weekend :)
ОтветитьPretty easy out one imo: in no gi the wrestler will have the edge, in gi the judo practitioner will.
