Slight Update: Hypercarry teams do work & you can play her as a solo carry if you like. DPS seems decent. However it's a completely different build that doesn't utilize her kit/synergies as well, less recommended, less unique of a playstyle, but viable, so I do want to mention it. [& can use Tingyun too] - but it will make her become just a generic DPS instead of a unique DoT carry who synergizes with MUCH less universal/valuable characters/supports + won't depend on crit/supports as much, being easier to build. With that in mind, I do want to emphasize that her crit build IS VIABLE and CAN PERFORM quite well, but is NOT as recommended as a DoT build (generally better + cheaper + lower value characters needed). The build & team options in this video are what I generally recommend and what are generally optimal and the best way to play kafka (& her standard role).

While Kafka's EHR amnts stated are accurate, it is often better to prioritize ATK over hitting the guaranteed chance at applying the debuff, for more value overall (as I mentioned briefly in eidolon section)

BTW: Welt's LC doesn't give you EHR since it's skill only.
& feel free to use Tingyun as a good support option in any build. Also, Himeko isn't optimal with Kafka but you can play them together if you want :)

So having build 1 or 2 more DoT chars alongside Kafka is good, since atm i only have Guinaifen and Luka, not having a single sampo despite my prayers..

I like how Pela’s signature lightcone does not suit her and shes not even DoT. The only time it works on her is if an enemy is frozen on Pela’s break weakness which gives a bit of DoT before thawed and it is a little bit difficult to get that right, because not all enemies have ice weakness unless you pull in Silver Wolf and second it takes a while to reach to 0 on the weakness break.

So cringy when people call her mommy Kafka…weebs are fucking weird.

I have been saving up since seele’s banner for her, ended up w e2 and her light cone. Very happy with her but still need to build sampo/luka for her.. i have been running her with tingyun and/or serval but rly wanna try her w other dots characters

I accidentally did a ten pull on the lc and got it then lost the 50/50 to the stupid ice sword guy at 70 pity luckily though I was able to grind up to soft pity to get Kafka so yipee

im a new player what is DoT guys?

What if they made mid longer, but only 1 tower with increased hp dmg etc so midlaners dont get dove as often from 1 tower, but its longer so pushing for plates is more punishing.

For bot i like the idea for supports, i thi k a lot of problems with adc can be fixed by nerfing the ability of sup to roam and leave the adc when they think its unwinnable and jg being to easy to dive. Maybe cause bot has no pre 5 min def for plates, it also should do more dmg so adcs rnt dove as easier.

Top has a lot of issues, the only thing i can think of is making top either be a blind pick role so u dont see enemy toplaner when picking to help the counterpick problem. Another thing that could help is to revert tp to old tp but do other things to help the initial issue like tp pre 10 has to be pre engaged so it would have to be predicted ex. I am malphite at 6 and i think a fight will happen bot so i initialize my tp bot which will let me tp in 10 sec. This or they could make something with top and bot alcoves as a bridge/portal or smthng. Other than these ideas, i still think there r a lot of problems with top and there r a lot of other ways it could be addressed based on the changes to other roles.

The big problem role, jungle. Honestly, the main thing they need to do is make camps tankier on 2nd+ clears. 1st clears are very champ specific for which jg cna clear and gank but after 1st clear, the jungle camps r too easy to kill and take no thought. Buffing camp tankiness scaling will keep junglers from perma impacting map. Another way they could help ppl with junglers is by increasing the blue ward range of placing over time. This way u can ward deeper in enemy jungle without risking yourself as an immobile champion. I think these would be baby steps to tackle jungle but as the role with the most playable classes, it would be hard to change it without making some classes unplayable in jungle.

To add to the last point, i do think that the champs playable in each role need to be fixed. Like their initial goal of making champs be able to use many mythics failed and they went back on it, they really need to change the idea that many champs should be playable in many roles. For example the biggest offenders would be jungle and support. Mages shouldnt be supports, the idea of a damage support is wrong and even though all the velkoz xerath brand zyra and lux players will be upset, those champs should be in midlane or as ap carries. This could easily be fixed by buffing minion dmg, nerfing base numbers, buffing ap ratios,making lvla matter more etc. For jungle, its nice every class can play but what shpuld matter more is playstyles. The main pkaystyles of jungle should be what is balanced around rather than champs being playable. Scaling herbivore champs like karthus, yi and the lvl 6 farmers like shyvanna fiddle and noc are 1 type of style, the carnivore playstyle like perma gankers j4 xin and vi with the invaders like voli and graves are the 2nd main style. The other styles r more of a misc like supportive since few champs like ivern do that. Omnivore jglrs r just herbivore jglrs that have big combat spikes like nocturne 6 or kayn with form.
