250 K monthly and still finding difficulties to manage the finances. That's why its important to get financial knowledge instead of coding. It's not their fault may be they are from any tier 1 college and the CTC which they are getting is over expected as per their grades. Who knows the boy still hold his job after 20k mass firing in Amazon.

I am watching losts of these videos from Anshuman. I feel like most of people being on camera dont give quotes/expense clearly or honestly. I mean 3000/- on groceries in banglore how it is possible. only 1000/- per month 2 people outside food is a joke. If you just take Samosa(Rs-15) and Tea(Rs-15) only for 2 person for 20 instances in a month is 60x20=1200.
I feel people not honest in declaring their expense.

corporate people are just so different from a business if one of them doesn't work the income goes down drastically which is just too much

I think it’s normal income for people who have technical skills and used 2022 for switching jobs as they have up skills themselves in lockdown and my friends inc me all have multiplied our income more than 5 time in 3 yr , some of them are in aboard and making 20X money as their project having on-site opportunities , all thanks to IT Blooming, people like us from middle class family can leave peacefully and offer help to our parents now. But all depends on your skills, communication, connections and taking right decisions in right time.

Fixing the finance doesn't mean investing investing.. Being a 27 year young age. My suggestion I'd just take term insurance as much as you could. The less the age the small the premium payment. So very first thing you both have to do is just secure one another. Life is so uncertain.

Just to add, don’t listen to his advice about child. You both have amazing benefits in terms of child care from your respective companies. The major expenses will be in vaccinations ( some vaccines are available in Govt hospital n r free, same might cause you 1000ands outside), all Medical’s are covered under your health insurance. You guys have great package and can do lot many things . One simple advice :-
Follow rule of 72( how money can doubled)
If you don’t use anything for 10 straight days then don’t buy that thing.

These days if i order veggies and fruits from Dunzo for a day or two it comes more than 500₹ .

Wonder how the disparity of pay will pan out. One hand you have people with about 10 years experience drawing 20 lacs and these days these are the packages offered to people with 2-3 year exp while the more experience guys can't increase in the similar way. In short experience to salary ratio is meaningless now.
