Hi Karl, Thanks for your helpful information, I am curious about the whether we need to have a local office in the regional area to satisfy the rule" work in specific regional area". According to a PAM, the department has mentioned about the local office but I am not sure this is mandatory or just an example to prove I was working in the specific regional area. After I received an invite for 491 Northern Territory , I submitted the visa application and did the biometrics and health checks.
The application status shows “This application requires additional supporting documentation. Please check correspondence and attach the requested documents.

By clicking on the 'Information Provided' button you acknowledge that the Department may proceed to make a decision on the application. Not clicking the 'Information Provided' button in no way lengthens or overrides the period specified in the correspondence."

However I haven't received any correspondence to provide what documents are required. Can you please help clarify what will be my next action item ?

Hi karl, nice and informative video. I am on 489 visa(sa sponser). And moving richmond nsw near by sydney but its in regional post list. Is it fine? And i get a job opprtunity employer based in sydney? Work in regional area. So only reference letter is ok or they need to mention in pay slip also? For 887 visa requirement we can do two part time 4-4 job or compulsory full time job?

Once I get the visa, If I get a job offer at any of the other regional areas, Am I legally allowed to stay and work at that regional area (outside of Northern Territory) for 3 year duration? Will this impact the PR eligibility after 3 years ?

Should we put employer address in the employer section? And for employee position location just our home?

Hi Karl, I have a 491 visa sponsored from the ACT. I just had an offer rejected because the company is based out of metropolitan Sydney and since they do not have an office in Canberra - implicating that I will be breaching visa conditions (as advised by their internal immigration lawyer). How can I approach this issue? This was going to be a remote working opportunity with occasional visits to Sydney.

I'm anticipating to receive a 491 visa from NSW but will look to live in regional QLD. Would I be able to work for an employer (full-time) based in Sydney if they authorised a permanent 'work from home' contract for me? So as I understand, you can remotely work for them, and still go to the office once in a while. My concern is the income, can the employer still be in Sydney and pay you of you live in Adelaide? It’s Work From Home. If I accept the offer letter would I still be eligible to apply for 191 after three years?

Hi Karl. I have recently applied for my 887 and I am one of those who got an extension on their 489. It was originally supposed to expire next year.
I recently was offered a remote job in Sydney but now they want to switch to hybrid (one day per week in Sydney). Can I accept this job or will it be a violation of the condition of my visa? I live in regional and will continue to do so.
