What if I put thermal paste in one component but a thermal pad in the other? I plan on using the PTM7950 for the cpu. If I bring the heatsink out, will I need to replace the pad as well?

I bought a used ROG Flow X13 for a really cheap price but I found the GPU to be thermal throttling way before reaching its usual clocks. Performance is good and i can still play games but not use the gpu to its fullest potential. Would you say the process is relatively same with the ROG Flow X13?

I plan to buy K5 Pro, Arctic MX-4, and Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut. are these viable options?

And BTW don't use K5 , I've seen some pretty nasty photos of ppl complaing that it boils when components get super hot, creating holes in the k5 paste applied in the components, you can just use Grizzly thermal (the grey one he used)paste on all the components and it will do the job very well , don't use the k5 white paste !

Hey just a question, i also like grizzly , i have the thermal paste and was thinking of replacing the old one ,why do you use the thermal paste only on the CPU and GPU but you use that white one liquid metal on the other components? Wouldn't thermal paste do the same job? Or is the liquid metal better ? And if yes, could I use the liquid metal on the CPU instead ?

Hey guys what is the alternative for K5? I've heard some bad stuff about it that is boils and leaves bubbles also i don't have access to it in my country I'm also sure that the blue stuff is dry and i had to replace it...is there any other option other than K5 and pads?

Maybe you can make a repaste video of the ROG zephyrus m15.

Quick question: Will it be possible if the repaste is not liquid metal but the thermal grizzly kryonaut extreme?

What paste u used for power section? In mine triton 500 they used some red factory so i change it after year for conductonaut. In many forums ppl always says to use thermal pads but in mine case even factory didn't use it only in one place even there i used fat amount of grizzly ( it's save in mine opinion i know whole power section and vrams got contact with cooler plate ) what do u think?

Hi Bob, thanks for all of your content and videos, thanks to them I was able to successfully re-paste my asus zephyrus M15 with RTX 2070 Max q (used kingpin kpx for both the cpu and gpu instead of the factory liquid metal on the CPU) and I'm enjoying better thermals now than before. (Paricularly better on the GPU side with much more less thermal throttling, it's a very small and compact chasis...)
Thanks once again and looking forward to more content from you!!!
