I'm having problems with the Microsoft VS code. Does anyone have the link to the 2019. I've downloaded it but it always gives me 2022 and also when I use the developer PowerShell command prompt it does verify that it is C++ Microsoft but in the configuration pathway it doesn't work for me.

I have an issue when I have followed the steps and when I try to configure the task etc it comes up with Jake and Gulp etc but when I press the run button I can choose Clang and G++ but it then comes up stating I need to put a json file into a file and name the workspace, so I am already lost as that did not come up in this tutorial.

is it okay to use dev++ ??because i have tried the whole visual code thin and its so confusing, someone give me validation please

Well its a very good cours here im enjoying learnin C++ with you, basically i use python and Matlab a lot and this year we need C++ OOP so i must learn and this is the best place to learn from 00 to advanced "NOTE: i know algorithms and some programming languages it was easy for me to understand fast that was my adventage also as major Networking and Telecommunications i did study assembly too so i know how machine work ..." Guys, I just want to recommend the paid course of this guy. It's not the best course in the world (I would give 8/10), personally, I was expecting for more exercises. But if you know how to produce or find your own exercises (for example, I have more than 120 Python exercises + Projects that now I'm translating to C++ language while the course evolves, of course, I can't fullfield all the course, once C++ > Python, but it helps a lot to get used with the language), those in the course will be enough (about 100 + extras, but the latest lectures have a lack of them). Despite that, it's an excellent course, very complete. To compare, the course here has about 31 hours, the paid course has more than double of it. So, much more content, not including the time to do exercises.

Yeah, I think I can relate to that. My first time C++ compiler installation took me a whole day and another 9 hours. In order to just run my C++ codes I need to compile manually everytime I write a new line of code. It's still difficult. In Python, It's very simple that even a 6 year old kid can install and run Python codes. I mean, why C++ and C language installation, compilation and running codes are not yet made easy as Python? Can't we as a developer build or develop a system or an IDE where anybody can pick up any programming language however they want just by clicking one button. That single button will do everything for you like compile and run your codes just as easy as it is with python? I mean, installations, compiling and and running doesn't really deserve the time it usually takes. All our time deserves building great applications and solving the real world problem.
