How to Code (Download) or Clone Something From GitHub

Can you help me as a total layman to install the program in github of akshaybawega/Smart-IC-Tester on my Arduino and TFT touch screen? I managed to completely recreate the IC tester using his clear diagrams and some self-study, but I couldn't install the software at all and I always get an error via the Arduino IDE and I don't know how to start? I'm just a car mechanic who would like to learn something about electronics, but this is apparently beyond me

Nice, especially because you answer the simple question, how do I download this sh$t, but also lift the curtain on cloning....saising interest into going further in using Git-Hub
I wish I had come across this a few years a go when I was struginging with exactly the same question.

I’m having issues trying to download a repository. After downloading either zip or clone on git client I get the full repository but the folders are empty where the files should be. The folder layout is correct but just completely empty
