How the inner body placed with out touching to the diffucer section?

I dont know wot u meant wen trying to describe wot a shock wave is but the way i understand it is this; sound is produced by the atmosphere around us being disturbed or vibrating such as wen a speaker pumps the air back n forth really quickly. It is that vibration in the air that is translated into sound. The spead at which air can carry a vibration thru it depends on density n temperature, tightly packed molecules knock into others quicker so pass it on quicker. Wen u create sound continuously but travel in a given direction faster than the air can pass on the vibration caused by the sound ur basically travelling faster than air can naturally move out of ur way so u end up pushing it into a really high pressure area jus in front of ur craft n that is wot causes the percieved wall. Sound ends up propagating from u in a cone going outward behind u. Hope this made sense
