If you look at some of the game footage you can see that the guy playing the game has random starter gear and spartan sandals unlocked, which you unlock with cells, which drop from enemies. So anyone who had actually played the game knows this is just a joke.

i just want to see the rest of the game but i hate that runs take upwards of an hour to get to the clock boss, and a single mistake might make me have to re do it all over again
