What's the actual issue of why it's doing this (for the 1st step)? Mine just had this problem after powering on my phone from turning it off. It wouldn't show anything but could feel it being on and tapped the screen and held the power button and nothing would show. Had to drive home from work with the screen not working and then I try this when I get home and didn't even make it through step 1 and the screen comes on like it didn't even have a problem.

please help me, someone please advice me what ti do, its go to recovery mode, charge as well, but not turn on as normal screen. i dont want to wipe my phone as Data is important

The black screen and continuous vibration problem happened to my one plus 7t today. I was in a hurry and didn't get any help so I ended up doing a factory reset from the recovery mode.. I didn't have any other phone at that time so that I could search for solutions but anyways if this happens again, atleast now I know what should I do

It took a few tries, timed with your video on the reset with the volume up and power button, but it did eventually work around attempt #10! I knew it was still on because my PC kept trying to charge it. I'm not sure if it was the number of attempts in total or if it was that I unplugged it and attempted the restart. Either way, it works now. Best of luck to others with the issue.

I tried everything and only I find a way to get back my display is brought a new one 😑

For anyone who bumps into this: Tried this on 7/10/23 with a OnePlus 6T, the first solution worked. Original problem: Black screen, no lights, vibrations and happened soon after it shut down due to 0 charge. Thank you WorldofTech for the straight forward and concise video, still helping folks.
