I knew the first part but the second part is new to me thanks
ОтветитьExcellent job Thanks
ОтветитьNice and 'clean' presentation of tying cord. do it look like that first loop after half turn around anchor is actually what is called marlin spike hitch? Learned that one while convalescing few years back from Sailing book but then it should be a marine knot ,not truckers hitch?? Tks . water.
Ответить.....👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
ОтветитьI remember the salesman at a kayak store showing me this to lash my boat to the roof , great knot
ОтветитьThat actually looks like the best demo I've seen. The proof will be when I practice and see if I can get it right.
ОтветитьUse an 8 instead of a single slip.
ОтветитьI can’t always learn a knot, that’s my problem. Ratchet straps for me. 😂
ОтветитьThat’s what rachet straps are for. 😂
ОтветитьNew sub, thanks for the content. I found your video interesting and informative. I look forward to watching more from your channel.
ОтветитьJust beautiful
ОтветитьI advise an 8 to make the loop. Easier to loosen, especially in thinner rope.
ОтветитьWhat did you tie on the other side?
ОтветитьI just learned the truckers hitch a couple of months ago. The addition of the auto locking extra loop is makes it so much better. Thank you!
ОтветитьThank you. Productive and efficient knowledge. Great demonstrational video.
ОтветитьGreat video, although it needs to be known that at the end where creating the quick release loop after the auto locking is done, HE HAS SEVERAL CUTS AND EDITS into the video, which is why it is confusing, I wasted 20 minutes trying to follow along and figure this out until it turns out that he doesn't actually show how to do this quick release loop!
Isntead at the end the edit is to show it already done after some other or misleading methods were being shown.
No hate, I appreciate the video, I just want to help anyone other who is also confused
What is meant to be done at this part is to wrap the bind around the standing rope like he says, but cross it over the bind's beginning half now located underneath the standing line and pull upwards through the hole which consists of the standing line and the same half of bind as the perimeter , and nextly pull on the loop away from the auto lock and the free rope end in opposite directions.
The amount of maximum leverage also depends on the amount of friction of rope's surface!
ОтветитьCan this be safely used instead of a whoopie Sling for Hammocks?? Please, let us know. This is such a promising idea 💡,,!
ОтветитьExcellent truckers knot demo.
