Ok all I'm gonna say is this could've been a 2 minute long video instead of 12 minutes 😂

HINT: If you brought the truck closer to the work site, the Ashley wouldn't have to carry the lumber so far 😉

you should plant a little chicken grass in the enclosed with them and maybe extend it a little so you don't have to worry about predators snatching them and eating them, ducks are awesome egg layers also.

Great vid! For the top deck boards that you walk on, what size did you use?

How not to build a deck. Better to build it right the first time, then take the time and expense to repair. At the very least pack some gravel under the blocks. Any ground water that runs will undermine those blocks, throw the deck off of level and shift loads unevenly. And those uneven loads will ultimately open gaps causing the nails to rust out.

You totally lost my respect when you had your wife load all those heavy planks of wood from truck except the last two. You did all the fancy tools and nail gun work. Then you had the nerve to say you gonna relax and watch the game. What a narcissist and ego behavior pattern. You truly nauseated me and my friends. Do not video tape you letting a woman do all the work. She even held the entire frame up while you toy nailed the frame. Ma'am next time marry a man not a stud on the outside and a male chovanist.. This is an awesome build. I need my deck to be really low to the ground...has anyone heard of tuffblocks? They look like they'd do the trick.

Should use deck screws and not nails. And use joist hangers. These to are vital for deck construction. In the future u will have your deck coming apart with nails.

At least compact the dirt beneath the portable footings and poor some sand under them. Settling just might happen with all of the added weight being applied.
