10 HARDEST Platinum Trophies That Take Countless Hours

im surprised the final trophy to Metal Gear Rising, the "Stormbringer", hadn't appeared on this list, thought Falcon kinda likes the game. It's absurd to have this trophy since you have to beat the game in its most hectic, brutal and hard mode, WITHOUT HAVE EVER BEEN HIT ONCE. It basically means that a single shot from the weakest enemy on the game can make you lose all your progress

GTA 5, Red Dead 2, and Black Ops 3 are my Top 3 hardest games that I’ve ever platinumed in my entire life cause for GTA 5 and RDR 2, you have to get the 100% completion which were extremely time consuming and tedious trophies since they are basically the equivalent of platinuming games for just 1 trophy. And for both GTA 5 and RDR 2, you also have to get 70 gold medals on 70 missions which was also a challenge for both games, but I managed to platinum both GTA 5 and RDR 2. Not to mention Black Ops 3 was the hardest for me cause I had to play the entire campaign on realistic (one shot, you’re dead) and I completed that by myself without my squads helping me (cause most ppl would squad up for this trophy). I also had to complete the combat simulation on realistic for the most time consuming trophy in BO3, “Personal Decorator” (which is also an equivalent of grinding for the platinum trophy compared to the 100% completion trophies from GTA 5 and RDR 2), and the personal decorator trophy also requires you to farm 650 kills on each gun, to unlock all camos and attachments for all guns, and it’s easy, but too much grinding. So the best place I go to, to farm all 650 kills on each gun, is the final mission called “Life” where you’re in the middle of that big battle and lots of enemy robots spawn infinitely near the plaza section where I camp inside a little certain area while I farm my kills consistently until I max out my guns. Sure it was boring, but I got it done eventually. Now don’t get me started with the accolade challenges for each mission in the Black Ops 3 campaign, cause most of them had the stupidest and annoying challenges in the game that are also required for the personal decorator trophy. Those 3 games gave me some massive PTSD after losing my sanity and raging over the toughest challenges where I just constantly fail or die in my attempt to complete the challenges and I was so eagerly determined to platinum those games that in the end, I successfully platinumed GTA 5, RDR 2, and Black Ops 3.

Roadmap = Complete the game however you like, making whatever story choices you want, and pickup all the collectables.

Some games just dont respect your time. Ni No Kuni is one. yeah it doesnt take 200hrs like some others but it takes about 35hrs to complete the story, then another 35hrs of monotonous grinding rare items from rare encounters to craft all the recipies. Anyone can do it if they have the patience but its just not fun.

forget even platinuming Crash Bandicoot games just beating them in itself will make you go mad

I really wanted to platinum RDR2 because it’s my favorite game but I has online trophies so I couldn’t do it since it’s online. :(

SO4 took me around 800 hours. I would have canceled it, if I hadn't a friend also playing it.

wipeout omega ain't that hard. the time requirements are the same as from the HD collection, but that game shipped without the faster ships in the fury DLC. they make omega pretty easy.

Any Platinum with an online requirement is an instant no from me. I am very selective about diving into mp.

Kinfa feel like edf 5 will be on this list. That requires lets see.. 12 playthroughs of over 100 missions at least. And it's difficulty reuires grinding because it doesn't matter how skilled you are when the most basic enemy can 1 tap you in a game where your emtire screen get filled with nothing but enemies and explosions.

You cannot get gold times on any Gran Turismo without a legit racing wheel and set up. Its basically impossible to manage the car well enough on any other input.

Diablo 2 is the new king of platinums.
Not counting ones that are impossible due to server outages.

Mortal Kombat 9, and Dead space 2 are top 10 material imo.

My proudest platinum trophy is the binding of Isaac. I got mine before the lost character started with any items so besting the game twice with the lost took me forever.

The rarest platinum i have is for Ghostrunner woth a .7%

Came so close to getting the GT5 platinum, but 2 of the trophies became unobtainable for me as the servers went down. I had all gold medals in everything. One of the most wounding video game experiences to date.

Star Ocean is insane, but you forgot to mention its Battle Trophy list which is why it takes beyond forever. So many of the trophies are so situational niché, like defeat a ceartain boss with its exact health, or dont get hit at all. Its literally RNG hell, you could be trying to get 1 battle trophie for hours and since theres around 1000 of them, id be really suprised of anyone would invest in such boring torture.
I thought tales of symphonia was terrible, but this is crazy.
