Great lesson. Great work. Thanks for the post. Perhaps a HTBT round with a better BC would get diff results to do a nice comparison.
ОтветитьI mean everyone talks about the 36 yard 0 but 50 seem legit.
ОтветитьWell done 👌🏻 you earned my sub.
ОтветитьGreat video, thanks for taking the time to zero at all those distances. It was helpful to actually see it rather than just talk about it 👍
ОтветитьThank you for the great video! Would this work on heavier bullets and different barrel length as well?
ОтветитьGezzz I'm old if 2010 is old school lol
ОтветитьGreat video. Thank for the time and effort. I learned a lot.
ОтветитьI'm curious what everyone is running for their load in their ARs? I personally run 69gr gold dots. But know my POI shifts for M193.
ОтветитьI run a 100 yd zero on my 18" with a 1×8 PA ACSS Raptor reticle. A 50 yd zero on my 10.5 AR with a Paralow PA/Holosun chevron with BDC dots It has minimalist Ranging capabilities. I run a 3x magnifier on a flip mount behind it. And given the loss of velocity in that barrel the 50 works. I may test out the 36yd in it though. Very intriguing. Certainly a 36yd would work nicely for single dot red dot.
ОтветитьGreat video. Thanks for the in depth examples
ОтветитьExcellent data, thanks!
ОтветитьOne of the best videos out there I’ve seen in this topic. Great work man!
ОтветитьYou may want to look at what maximum point blank range is. The concept totally obsoletes a yard zero. A chest cavity is 10-12 inches tall. Use that along with your ammo specs to find a zero that works from 0-400 yards with no holdover
Ответитьif you have a bdc then zero it to what the manual says so the bdc is functional.
ОтветитьGreat video.
Very informative and not like those boring videos on the net.
Loved it.
Thanks for the great job
Great stuff. Concise and to the point. I like the 100 yd zero on .308 and 5.56
ОтветитьPeople need to be aware this only holds true with co witness height sights. Lower third and above causes the a bigger deviation in impacts
ОтветитьI always just go 2 inches over zero at 100 yards. Always has proven to work well for me. Looks like it ends up being about the 36 yard zero anyway
ОтветитьGreat job explaining the differences. Learned a lot!
Ответитьwell demonstrated.
I like 100 for LPVOs with BDC, and 50 for red dots.
man, this was most helpful understanding different zero distances the way you explained very well thought out and executed! Big Props to you
ОтветитьSuch a good video bro!
ОтветитьI am thankful you took the time to make this video. Really well made and informative.
ОтветитьYou are doing a good job. Your viewers do not have to wad through the normal gun channel bullshit where the presenter attempts to convince us he is a hero.
ОтветитьI'm digging the 36yrd and the 100yrd
ОтветитьI’m watching again. Lol. My favorite video.
ОтветитьGood job on the video.
ОтветитьLift your scope higher off your rifle and it will flatten out your ballistics more. My iron sights are zero at a hundred yards, my scope at 200.
ОтветитьSpecial forces typically use 36 so I'm guessing that's probably pretty good
ОтветитьIf you dont have a reticle with a BDC run the 36 yard zero. If your reticle has a BDC zero according to manufacturer specs
ОтветитьGreat job! I don't think I've seen this comparison with all the different zeros. I'm might changed my red dot to the 36.
ОтветитьRIBZ. Revised Improved Battlesight Zero. Forget that military jargon. Its a rifle and needs to be zeroed like any other rifle.
ОтветитьSo it appears that a 25 yd zero gives you a 300yd zero meaning if your hitting dead on at 25yds you will also hit fairly dead on at 300yds? Can someone please help me understand.
ОтветитьThank you for the work you put into this. This can save a bunch of ammo on range day.
Ответитьvery good and realistic! super easy to understand for the average joe! i understand now!
ОтветитьWell done sir
ОтветитьHello, i have my 12.5” rifle zeroed at 30m (33 yard), do you think that it will be any difference between 33 yard zero and 36 yard zero?
Thanks in advance!
Great video !! 36 yard zero
ОтветитьThank you for the effort! By far the best video on this topic
ОтветитьThank you for making the time to make this video. I’m a big fan of the 36 yard zero. What you you recommend for an ar10? Shooting for 300+ yards….
ОтветитьI'm gonna keep it simple, I needed this!
ОтветитьGreat video, one of the best I have watched.
ОтветитьAll of your shots were right in line with the ballistics calculations...
ОтветитьGreat explanation, it's nice to see someone get information out there without trying to sell us a product or waste time rambling on.
ОтветитьThank you for doing this. Many of us "know" this sort of data but its great you posted it side by side, same rifle, same sights, same shooter, same ammo. I've never done this to this extent. I've loved 25 yard zero for years (LE work) but the 50 yard is something I'm looking at (also noted in a Haley Strategic video).
ОтветитьHow are you measuring the distances? Like how do you know its 25 meters? Curious how to do that myself too.
ОтветитьGreat informative video!!! Thank You!!!
ОтветитьIm a fan of 36 yd zero I live in the city so most engagements I’ll ever be in will be close quarters so ima stick with that , great work tho I know this took a lot of time to do to show us the difference between each different zero
ОтветитьGreat information..nice video..thanks man, Godbless
ОтветитьBuen video papá
