Phillip did everything wrong and got thrown out the window as a result of his actions:

1. ) He was a homosexual, which alone should have gotten him burnt at the stake in Medieval England, but for whatever reason Longshanks tolerated him.
2.) "Leave us". That was Longshanks' first warning. Everyone but him and his son should have gone, but Phillip wanted to stay.
3.) "Who is this person who speaks to me as though I needed his advice." The second and most blatant warning from Longshanks. This was Phillip's last chance to leave alive, but he didn't leave.
4.) "I am skilled in the art of war and military tactics sire." This was Phillip's last mistake. Not only did he not pick up on the cues and leave, but even had the gall to boast about his so called "military genius", which Longshanks knew was a load of bull.

Longshanks then finds out that fairies can't fly, and gives his effeminate son a ye olde backhand.

I don't blame the king...

If I were trying to expand the empire, then have my major army defeated and the only excuse my son has to offer, is that he was too busy being "long-dicked", by his "advisor", I would make him "skip the elevator" too.
