If you’re reading this and NOT subscribed, please take a second to scroll back up and hit that big juicy subscribe button. I’d really love to hit one billion subscribers, buy another abandoned tiny house, and then retire with 37 cats. 🤠
ОтветитьI truly admire what you did, but do not understand why THIS video is transposed left to right. It made NO sense when looking at your other videos of the house.
ОтветитьAbsolutely right to not worry about the roughly two grand difference, you did good kid👍
ОтветитьGreat job !
Ответитьbuilder's fee higher than the cost of materials? what a country
ОтветитьYour house is absolutely beautiful 😊 it's a stunning location too!
The only thing I would suggest is to put your TV on the wall if possible? Hopefully you're able to attach one that can be angled to wherever you or guests are 😊
Warm Regards
Elaine from Australia
NOT worth it bruh, 150k in insanee
ОтветитьThat is such a lovely little house! Very beautiful interior finishes, and the outside is so warm and nice.
ОтветитьOk I think the estate agent needs to come look again !!
Ответитьyou could definitely sell it for 200k
ОтветитьCould you create a e-book or a pdf with a checklist or the process step by step to follow along? I want to learn about it but I understand nothing, people would pay for that.
ОтветитьYou should be mega proud, much love from Australia 🦘❣️
ОтветитьTurned a derelict abandoned building to a home = Priceless to community!
ОтветитьYour house is wonderful George, just the right size for a man and his cat ❤ my hubs has a white area on his head too, might start calling him Patchy 😊 newly subbed 🤗
ОтветитьThe realtor is obviously an idiot.
ОтветитьWhat on earth is that solicitor fee? Wow.
ОтветитьThis is amazing, I'm so intrigued as to how you got access to £157,000 to buy and build it, at such a young age. Did you get a mortgage? As this would obviously drastically increase the final cost after interest, love what you've done!
Ответить❤
Ответить@patchy was the house price negotiable? It didn’t look inhabitable at the time and for quite some time.. I thought maybe you’ve of said £25K
Ответитьis it me or is that an outrageous price for a home as small as this one? It's very nice, but for this price I'd imagine getting a home atleast a few people can live in. I'm guessing if you knew the right people you could've done a lot of work yourself and cheaper but still.
ОтветитьYour patch is unique, love it 🧡
ОтветитьThat is a shithole sir. My living room is bigger than that entire place. My yard is endless
ОтветитьInstead of a stair railing, those should've been walls going up to the ceiling. That way, your cat wouldn't climb the railing and possibly fall from there. And you could've had more wall space for different things to hang.
ОтветитьI think it’s underpriced. I would have thought £190.000
ОтветитьOh wow you use it as an air b&b now? I thought you were living in it? Wish it was closer I'd definitely stay there😊
ОтветитьNice of you to provide an inventory and road map for thieves. 🤣
ОтветитьYou are very blessed, I love the history of your home. You’ve done an amazing job. Looking forward to following your journey round our wonderful country.
ОтветитьSo, what you've paid out is what the house currently is worth. So (unless you have a mortgage) it hasn't cost you anything in a way as you still have that money it's just shaped like a house now.
ОтветитьI'd just like to ask about your solicitors fees,,,,I must be wrong but wasn't just conveyancing? Almost £12,000 seems a huge amount to me
ОтветитьVery much appreciate your candor and Full Disclosures. Quite rare.
ОтветитьThanks for the cost breakdown. It really gives a very good insight to what things actually cost. The fees come across to me as really extortionate compared to what you get for that money and how little has to be done by those to whom fees are paid. If society wants to act in the interests of people being able to afford homes, then we should lower fees and taxes to levels just covering costs associated. It will be good to hear what others paid in fees for their small builds as you travel and show us more in Scotland. Thanks for this video.
ОтветитьGreat job, how do you heat the house?
ОтветитьStill don't know where you are from.
ОтветитьWhich builder did you use. Amazing
ОтветитьHi Patchy 👋I think you have done an amazing job ! Respekt and
greetings from Germany🤝
I recon your house is worth much more its stunning
ОтветитьI wish I could fit in a tiny home. I’m nearly 2 meters though, 1.98 to be exact
ОтветитьCheaper than houses in Ireland lol
ОтветитьGuess was fun building this plus you get to build it exactly as you wanted. And this might have been a location which fitted perfectly for you.
But cost wise, not sure is worth it. Believe houses in this price range (potentially cheaper by about £15k) available across villages in Scotland and Wales.
They are typically far larger with additional rooms plus backyard space.
Patchy your house looks amazing. Great job
Ответитьwow .. well i`m sure the house is payed for now .. did NOT expect it to get that high .. lovely house ofc and you get YOUR house for 2800 :D .. i call that a bargain
Ответить£157,844,46 fuck!
Ответитьvery nice house! why did you not insulate the outside instead and keep the wall inside and the advantage of the thermal mass? Where there many restrictions from the government to do so?
ОтветитьAmazing job! Were you architecturally trained?
ОтветитьAll looks so compelling until I realise how far away from 157k pounds I am.
ОтветитьIt cost over £150,000
ОтветитьI love the place
ОтветитьNice job. I'd want to as much as possible myself.
I would have carried on stonework between the windows, electrics I suppose it would have to pass some regulations so an electrician, concreting the floor okay. Plumbing no problem as I just put a new bath in, copper plumbing and p.v.c. waste out pipe, plasterboard and frame then plastering, I'm not quick but it doesn't matter and I do a respectable finish, and a new sink waiting to be put in.
I won't go on a roof. I'll leave that to someone else. I'd rather have a single story building to go on a roof such as I put a new roof on the extension three years ago.
So after finishing plastering I can put tongue and groove boarding on the rear kitchen wall with insulation, it's all ready apart from varnishing.
Congratulations! Good job on preserving old building and giving new life.
