Corruption VS Crimson: Which is better?

Crimson is easier for me, for some reason I struggled so hard on my recent playthrough with Expert Curroption with the Eater vs Crimson I never have problems, also Curroption enemy spawn is insane, Crimson any day

I like the corruption more but you get way better loot from crimson

Corruption is the most annoying, it’s why I play it.

Saying EOW is harder than BOC is brain dead.

I think I’m on corruptions side since it’s just better overall for late game, especially since it has way more altars

I love curroption, it looks better. But I always choode crimson if I really want to PLAY PLAY the game.

I prefer crimson specifically because of Calamity. I don’t know if this is actually a thing but whenever I ran crimson, the world would generate with titanium ore and that would let me build the mod weapon, titanium railgun. I loved that weapon so much and would use it for as long as I could, even when better options presented themselves.

Nah, fighting the brain is more disgusting than the worm so I choose Corruption instead
Also the name Corruption read feel better than Crimson and its color is purple

Try using Fargos of Best Worlds mod, it has a 2 evil biome feature and much more

Both are fabulous, but imo what crimson has over corruption is the soundtrack; it actually sounds evil and out of place, which is the intended effect. The corruption music is just very similar to the forest and underground music

I am a corruption fan 100%, why? Cause funny worm fits into the lore. Would make sense if we had a mechanical brain but NOPE 😭

I like the corruption because it’s a breeze once you beat the goblin army and just purchase a bunch of spikes they take soooooooo much damage

If you play Master Mode or Higher, You will definitely appreciate the Worm Scarf much more especially in Boss Fights. 17% damage reduction is insane.

corruption has a potion that increases damage, with the crimson variant only increasing crit chance

Just because the brain is easier, it doesn't mean it's better

I'd rather have a -17% REDUCE TO ALL DAMAGE, instead of a chance for 100% reduced damage.

Brain is eaiser earlier on, brain of confusion is better earlier on, the terrarain in the crimson is eaiser to navigate without things like a hook/wings/rocket boots
